Pros +
- Lovely pub, exceptionally clean rooms, great food and delicious breakfast. Owner was really friendly and all the staff working there were great.
- The receiption was friendly. I was taken right to my room and found it perfect for my needs. I had a shared bathroom with one other room which was no problem.
- The room was simple put perfectly comfortable. The pub and restaurant were lively and the food served was quite tasty. There aren't a lot of options in town but you will be well taken care of here.
Cons -
- My room had an adjoining door to the next room which I think made sound travel easier but I could hear every word, or their kettle boiling etc.
- If I am being really picky the shower on the shared bathroom was not very powerful
- Live band on Saturday night so it was noisy. Earplugs were in the room so no worries there.

Excellent location on the SW coast path, close to beach and local shops. Wonderful breakfast and lots of options. Generous provision of fresh milk and toiletries. Very clean. Friendly staff.

Excellent location with clean, comfortable rooms; nice pub downstairs with a good mix of locals and visitors. Both dinner and breakfast were terrific.
Really friendly staff, extra effort to accommodate dogs; blankets, bowls and snacks and very reasonable charge much appreciated

Nice looking pub with great bar area and restaurant
I had to leave early !!Not the hotels fault, obviously .Will return soon , hopefully.
This was are final stop for the week after walking SouthWest Coast path. Although they were very busy we had a warm welcome and shown to our room. The room as perfect for our needs, with all the normal facilities. We ate supper at the pub which was convenient and delicious. Breakfast was from 7.30am which is ideal if we had been walking the next stage. In fact we have booked to stay when are doing our next SW path trip.
Extremely friendly staff, beautifully decorated rooms and doggy treat bag! And great food x
Lovely place and a lovely few touches like the dog bed, towel and treat bag and the basket on the landing for any forgotten items. Nice to see a busy pub and prices weren’t too bad!
The mattress was ok, could feel the springs in the mattress abit.
Hospitality at its best , ( apart from 10.00am check out - must have spent too much time in Australia! ) serious attention to guests needs . Robes, make up removal cloth, fresh milk , water, lovely biscuits, beach towels .Friendly staff , excellent breakfast. We will return
No 10.00am check out .
Spotless well eqipped room. Lovely food. Lots of thoughtful extras. Made very welcome
Room was very good though we had a shared bathroom but it was just across the corridor. Tv reception on some channels weak but not much could be done about that. Location great, 3 minutes to the beach and shops and the breakfast choice was excellent. Didn't eat there but menu looked good. Friday evening bar was busy but staff coping well.
Not a lot.
The location was perfect for SWCP and the staff welcoming. Supper and breakfast were delicious.Thank you.
The beds were uncomfortable, they would benefit from toppers for a best nights sleep.
Great location, parking, very comfy bed and soft bedding and an absolutely amazing breakfast. Best salmon and eggs on toast I e had. Staff were friendly professional and very helpful.
Cosy and warm room, nicely decorated. Delicious dinner and amazing breakfast. Car park right outside, short walk to the beach. Perfect!
All good
