Lusty Beg Island

It feels like a real treat and a proper getaway to come to lusty beg. The little ferry across was fun. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The location is just beautiful and the spa was wonderful. We came as a family of 5 plus the dog and it was wonderful for all of us! The spa has a pool which the kids loved and they enjoyed the fairy trail walk.

We had a couple of issues in our lodge but they were easily rectified and staff apologised.

Lusty beg is so relaxing. Everyone is polite, warm, and friendly. We loved the food, the pool, and the atmosphere of the lounge, bar, and restaurant.The views from the island are pleasing to watch. Listening to the sea and watching the waves crash into the rocks was mesmerising.

I liked the location and set up of resort

Dirty mattress I lost my expensive silver bracelet and stripped the bed looking for it.The bed had so many old dirty stains on both sides of mattress The pillow case was also stained There was a broken tile missing from shower tray exposing a sharp edge.Very limited hanging space for clothes.Hairdryer very poor and only blew cold air

The dinner was incredible. Steak and salad especially good. Staff friendly

The pool and changing room very run down. Nowhere to change everyone's clothes everywhere, no lockers, very small and dirty. Vomit all over the restaurant bathrooms (ladies) noone cleaned it up they just put a sign up. It stank to high heaven. We waited over an hour on our main course and were starving and kid was getting fed up. The fairy trail was not maintained and was flooded and slippy

Brilliant location, great food, friendly and helpful staff, air rifle activity was a bonus.

Super rooms , spacious and clean.. staff was very accomadating.. manager was very nice , very friendly and helpful.. kids loved the pool

It was a great location, staff, accommodation and activities to do on the island.

1.Moss on the walkway and patio of the cabin made the area extremely slippery with a few close calls. 2. When having dinner at the restaurant, random people started filtering through from the bar area occupying empty tables even though we and other people were trying to have a personal dinning evening.3. We weren't able to book any of the spa sessions as they were fully booked. So recommend you advise visitors in advance to do so.

The staff where extremely friendly and accommodating! One lady in particular Libby was incredible!

Location is very run down and old particularly the reception, bar and restaurant - feels like a school trip vibe. Although it is great it is dog friendly it could be so much nicer with new furniture and a face lift.

Black Mould on bathroom window. Rooms need a refreshExtractor fan not working in bathroom Spa swimming pool was fine. Litter left around it from previous guests was concerning.Male changing room completely soaking. Toilet was loose. Got up early for made to order breakfast after confirming with staff the previous night. Turns out this is only when there is less than 40 booked in for breakfast. Buffet it was then. Could have slept longer as a result.

It’s spacious but outdated. The view are lovely.

It needs updated and the staff are willing but don’t carry out the tasks they are asked. We had no toilet roll in our room and we went toreception they told us they would send someone down but still didn’t receive any when we left the next day. The spa was a joke pool was freezing and the treatments wasn’t the length of times on the booking. The breakfast wasn’t great.

The room was really big and comfortable.as for the breakfast and dinner was really nice.very good value for money. Not to expensive for anything. Rooms also very warm and cosy. The spa was also very good.

Rooms are nice food was good

There was a wedding or an event on and the music was silly loud, until 0130, with people standing outside screaming and shouting. A family room should not be close to this. Very little sleepThe beds are soft and lumpy and the pillows are hard

Loved how accessible it’s to get too, the boat over is very quick & we didn’t have to wait, we came at peak check in time. I loved how everything was so close in walking distance. Staff were lovely & so helpful. Food was lovely & breakfast Lovely cocktails & entertainment.

The pool was poorly lit. The changing rooms were cold & damp.We stayed in the cabins, really nice & cosy but the bathroom floor when wet is extremely slippy & so was the shower floor too. Would have loved if the cottage pub was open but maybe it’s a summer thing.

Ferry was unique experience atmosphere was warm and welcomingStaff were really helpful especially Libby who was very knowledgeable about the area and went out of her way to help with any queries we had Food was very good

Breakfast was very disappointing food was dried out and Luke warm Room 17 needs some TLC loose fittings etc minor things but needs attention to detail a lot of the accomadation need a good overhaul exterior wise you have an amazing location Also showers in pool area no shower gel available

No hot tub facilities available or no entertainment in the bar that evening

Porridge is amazing, plenty of choices and fresh.

I think a sauna,ice bath & pizza oven would be fantastic additions

BEAUTIFUL ISLAND, BAR AND RESTAURANT IS TASTEFULLY DECORATED AND THE SMELL OF TURF IS VERY INVITING. OUR ROOM WAS PERFECT FOR OUR FAMILY. BRILLIANT MEAL AND BREAKFAST WAS SUPERB. CANT FAULT THE FOOD.

SWIMMING POOL IS DATED AND TILES ARE OFF ON THE STEPS GOING IN. BEDS IN ROOM VERY SOFT WITH ZERO SUPPORT. GREEN SECURITY LIGHT IN BEDROOM WHICH REMAINED A CONSTANT ALL NIGHT AND ANNOYED EVERYONE IN MY FAMILY, SLEEP WAS JUST HORRENDOUS! IN THE BAR AREA, EVERYONE HAD TO ENDURE A LOUD BOISTEROUS YOUNG FAMILY UNTIL 1030PM, TIRED AND SCREAMING KIDS RUNNING RIOT AND THROWING TABLE LIGHTS ACROSS THE FLOOR. WE LEFT AND DIDNT GET TO ENJOY OUR RELAXING NIGHT. THIS ACTUALLY CONTINUED AT BREAKFAST AT 830AM WITH SAME FAMILY PLAYING LOUD CARTOONS ON IPADS AND PHONES IN THE BREAKFAST AREA. STAFF STOOD BY AND LOOKED ON. IM NOT ANTI CHILDREN, I HAVE KIDS, BUT THESE PARENTS WERE RUDE AND DIDNT CARE LESS WHOSE BREAK THEY RUINED. ALOT OF MONEY FOR A ONE NIGHT STAY. PITY IT ISNT RUN PROPERLY.

The food was lovely, however we came across a few bugs in the room and the bed which was unfortunate. When we reported to reception I was disappointed with the response we received as it was initially disbelief then when offered evidence excuses and a watery apology was offered. This took away from our stay.

As above the bugs and report. The pool was lovely but perhaps a little too warm as was the room.

The dinner and breakfast were really lovely and the location was great.

The bar and dining area were extremely cold. We would have stayed there longer but we went back to our cabin to warm up. The fires and radiator were warm but unfortunately there were bad draughts
