Excellent location, food very good and good value. Friendly staff.

Very popular bar for locals but would have likes a quieter lounge for hotel guests….

No wi-fi in bedrooms. Wi-fi in bar but it was very erratic with signal constantly dropping out.

The food in the restaurant was really nice and good value.

They advertised wifi in your room but it was only available in the bar area. This is misleading advertising. The room was very basic and dated. We have stayed at better places that were cheaper.

Near to where we wanted to be, receptionist was helpful and polite

There was a strange smell in the room, the bathroom was dated and toilet dirty, mattress kept sliding down the bed which made it uncomfortable, felt it was expensive for what it was

Disappointing

Boiler kept making a very loud noise, taps kept running and lights were flickering. Made it very hard to get a decent sleep.

The staff are lovely, the bed is comfortable. The location is ideal for us.

Its not i didnt like but for £85 a night, though the room is very clean, its tired and shows some wear and tear especially in the bathroom.

Good location in town centre. Pub downstairs reasonably priced

My room well all our rooms were cold until we turned up the heating

Noisy fan in room next door woke us at night. Room needed upgrade. Mirror in bathroom was rusty

Hotel is very dated needs modernisation which would make it cleaner. Looking shabby and old . Has a musty smell . Tv was extremely small not really usable.

A hand rail would help clients to get in and out of the bath, shower and Prevent slips. At 23.45 someone was trying to enter our room with a key. Better security is required.The beds were comfortable but the pillows were too flat and hard

Bed was very comfortable and had a good night's sleep.

Noisy extractor in the bathroom. Only one bed side light worked. Thin walls as you could hear people next door.

Basically the only hotel in all of canvey island

Rooms are a like being in a freezerRooms are from the early 2000s for sure, but lack of options in canvey they really aren’t pressured into updating them. Unless you dont mind the drive into basildon or southend people just cave in and book it. For the money its bordering a rip off but beggars cant be choosers

Stayed at hotel for 1 night,room smelt on arrival did have to open windows.Mirror wasn't cleaned very well.Not worth the nightly rate

Rooms were old and needed updated. Had to change rooms because a function was on for 2 nights of our stay First night noise so loud. floor was vibrating and didn't sleep.
