    Pros +

    • We had a wonderful stay at the Gwesty Seren Hotel. It served perfectly as a base to explore Wales, as it's location is relatively close to most of the activities we wanted to do (hiking, mountain biking, etc.) The rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.
    • Lovely hotel with great facilities. The staff are absolutely brilliant and made sure our stay was as good as it possibly be. Although we didn’t need it, this hotel caters really well for those with poor mobility, lift from car park to reception and to the bedrooms
    • Beautiful views, welcoming staff

    Cons -

    • The walls seemed pretty thin and it was easy to hear anything outside your room. Most guests are respectful, so it was not a big issue for us, but it also gave us the feeling that we had to be very careful with noise, which sometimes is tricky when traveling with kids/teens.
    • No jacuzzi
    • Nothing we didn't like.

Beautiful view from the hotel. It was very clean and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were very pleasant. No problem parking.

    Nothing we didn't like.

Lovely quiet location. Hotel facilities were very good. Large and comfortable double bed room and spacious bathroom. Staff were friendly and helpful. Furniture and fittings in our room were much better than average and belied the price that we paid for our stay. This is a smart place. Plenty of safe parking.

Room was only cleaned if you asked for it to be done, same with bed making and bin emptying. No restaurant as such for evening meal.

What an amazing property, facilities were perfect including enough sockets. Full length mirror and the most comfortable beds, views are amazing too

Warm and comfortable and good breakfast

Lift access to front entrance was out of order. Shower was difficult to regulate.

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Very clean. Excellent breakfast and stunning views.

The bed and pillows were a bit soft, but that's a matter of personal preference

I liked the big bedroom and bathroom very accessible for disabled guest. Very friendly staff. We arrived early for check-in so Josh made us coffee. Two very friendly girls brought our luggage to our room.

    everything was good

The dining room wasn’t open that evening

The location looking directly onto the Snowdon National park was breathtaking. Hotel very peaceful. Staff exceptionally friendly and help full. Hotel could easily pass for a 5 star. If you stay there. Book a meal at the Grapes, just down the road. Amazing. I will deffinetely be going back.

Could only stay for a short period, due to work.

everything was good but there was not available any sandal, toothpaste brash and also insufficient tissue paper.

    7IrenaPosted on: 8-5-2025

Chose continental breakfast consisting of cereal, croissants, yoghurt, unlimited toast, fruit juice and hot drinks. This was served in a very clean, comfortable environment . The bedroom was spacious and clean with tea&coffee making facilities. However we did have to request extra. The staff were helpful with all enquiries.

The room was incredibly hot and uncomfortable to sleep in , however there was a fan available in the room.

    5AndrewPosted on: 7-29-2025

    Clean and spacious.

The only room available was for disabled people, very adequately arranged with hoist, hospital bed and various other aids, but not very amenable for non-disabled people. The breakfast was a bit like Eastern Europe before the wall came down - for example, it was not allowed to order two different types of cereal, and the coffee and juices were rather industrial.

    10ManuelPosted on: 7-28-2025

Clean, price was ok but the guy at reception was so helpful.

    A little cheaper considering location

    8BenPosted on: 7-13-2025

Lovely location, with a great view. Clean updated rooms, cycle storage and tools. Great breakfast.

    4WhitePosted on: 7-12-2025

The location and the views from the room were magnificent

The hotel is largly run as a respite care home with no evening meals and a bar only open once in our stay. The room first alocated with the requested walk in shower had to be rejected doue to air noise in the heating system. The alternative room had awful twin beds, too high for people of normal height. Staff were helpful but unable to make decisions without reference to others, non resident. We certainly did not book to stay in a care home.

    8IanPosted on: 7-7-2025

They offer respite care for people with learning difficulties - very comfy bed, great shower and stunning location.

No restaraunt, food or room service - which is a shame

    10DaviesPosted on: 7-7-2025

Room was spacious, nice views and easy parking

Only tiny detail, shower. We booked a disabled room and it was well equipped but I'm 6'4 had to use the seat to sit under the shower lol be handy to have a taller one too but it still was a nice shower
