Pros +
- Everything - tasteful and spacious, well equipped room with superb bathroom and best shower ever experienced! Excellent breakfast from the bakery.
- Nice location, excellent Pizza in the restaurant down stairs and fresh pastries for breakfast
- The character of the hotel and attention to detail in the room.
Cons -
- That the restaurant and bar was closed for the whole time we stayed there ( 3 days ) this serves no purpose to someone paying for a 3 night stay. Also the doors were really difficult to open when entering the code. Very stiff. The room was quite hot so recommend a better fan ( Dyson ) for hot nights since there is very little window ventilation and our room was right at the top.
- Not much, the only thing that could be improved on is the breakfast. It is only pastries and a fruit, which, if you are on a diet or have allergies, is a bit difficult. But that should not take away from the otherwise amazing stay we had at the Dial House.
- Breakfast! Handles on awkward parts of stairs would be helpful.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in the Dial House. The location is absolutely perfect in the middle of Reepham (a quaint village in Norfolk). We stayed in the print room and it was a good size with a lovely marble bathroom. We slept fantastically in the bed and everything was impeccably clean.

Breakfast was the only weak aspect. Unusual offering. Much prefer to have even limited choice of eg toast/bread, butter (which was actually being sold!), marmalade etc, cereals, fruit, teapot/coffee jug.
Breakfast! Handles on awkward parts of stairs would be helpful.
Nice rooms, clean, breakfast
Self check in. No personal contact. Tough to get decent food on a Monday evening.
Good location and clean
Staff were quite rude at breakfast, very cold property, plumbing issues and heating issues in rooms. Limited breakfast and charged for having a second coffee! Not quite the 5* we had hoped for.
Clean comfortable room and well appointed. Good shower/pressure/hot water. Clear communication from absent host. Location looking on to market square was perfect for our needs.
Unfortunately the whole experience was let down by an extremely poor breakfast being very prescriptive. i.e. 1 savory, 1 sweet pastry, 1 drink and 1 piece of fruit. I asked for my sausage roll to be warmed, but was told this was not possible. I would have much preferred to go out for breakfast and pay a little less.
The location was excellent, right in the middle of the town, however it was very quiet, the room was spotless and warm even though it was minus degrees outside. There's a free public car park just around the corner, there's a lovely coffee shop downstairs which turns into a wine bar later on and stays open until 10 pm, our room was directly above the coffee shop but we didn't hear anything in the room, it was lovely and quiet.
The fire alarm went off at around 9 pm it went off after about 15 minutes, the fire brigade turned up too but we were assured that it was a false alarm.
Beautiful building in a beautiful friendly village. The room was large, lovely, cosy and warm. The pub across the road were very welcoming and friendly.
Would be nice to have a choice for breakfast, instead of just pastries. No staff around to help with queries and our bath needed cleaning before using.
Room was nice and very clean . Great location for a nights stay. Local pub and shops.
Staffless hotels always ring alarm bells to me and this was no exception. I don’t like them and this reminded me why. We didn’t have enough towels and because there’s no one at the hotel it took an hour to get some delivered to us and by then it was too late as we were ready to check out.
Beautiful! Decoration done to such a high standard, great sympathetic detailing, lovely opulent ambience. There was a record player in the cupboard and lots of LP’s in the lobby - so retro & enjoyable!!
Nothing!
Breakfast was lovely. The atmosphere was wonderful! The bed was so comfy!
The water kept escaping, the seal needs fixing on the bath so had to keep topping up the water.
Loved the rooms and decor - gorgeous! Beds are very comfortable and had a great night's sleep.Loved the breakfast too - different but exceptional pastries. Have been before and will definitely return.
Nothing!
The coffee shop and wine bar are really nice.
The room we stayed in was really hot without the heating on, not sure what the could do about it though. Although the coffee shop is really nice I got woken up at 7am by them dragging a trolley up the path of the hotel every morning.
Amazing room, perfect decor and bath in bedroom. Nice lighting, perfect for a romantic bath after a long day at work. Reepham is a gorgeous little town and it was so blissfully quiet at night. Bed was incredibly comfortable and shower was ace. Perfect little bed for our dog. We absolutely loved our stay. Oh and the breakfast!
Beautiful room
The breakfast was extremely disappointing to say the least for the cost of the room a cooked breakfast should have been included. No staff whatsoever to meet and greet which was also disappointing
What a lovely place! Room was well thought out nice touches with the mini fridge! Bath was fabulous lol. Pub over the road was superb. Would easily visit again
It was a very busy bakery -very yummy too! But we found visitors to the bakery very loud -(was our choice to have the windows open) would be our only negative comment
Beautiful boutique hotel in a gorgeous little town full of charm. The rooms have been done with so much thought and character. We loved the wine bar and bakery with so much choice for breakfast. The staff were beyond helpful and friendly. We saw a lot of Emma and Connor from the wine bar who were lovely. My mother in law loved it too and there was even a bottle of fizz in the fridge and a Happy Birthday message from the staff. We can't wait to go back.
Leaving this beautiful place ?
Lovely stay with fun rooms
Our room got pretty hot, they supplied a fan but was still very warm at night.
