- Disappointment
- As a solo traveller I felt very comfortable at this friendly local Welsh pub/hotel. The breakfasts and evening meals were exceptional. The location was central for various attractions.
- People were lovely and tried hard to accommodate us. Rooms were clean and tidy with tea/ coffee etc. bathroom was clean and it had a good shower
Cons -
- The room selection suggests a mountain and/or garden view from each room. The room had a very small window facing the street, and the only view was the building on the other side of the street. The bathroom is split, and you walk through the entrance of the room which can't be locked.
- It was not as I expected but worked out really well
- This is not a flashy boutique hotel but a good honest pub venue in a great location. I hope to return next year.

Situated in the village, great location. The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and a big en suite in an adjoining room. Steve, the landlord, made me feel welcome and offered a 'pack up' breakfast as I had an early start on Sunday morning.

Breakfast was fine. Staff were great: very friendly and helpful. Locals in the pub were friendly and helpful too. The location was great for visiting the surrounding area. We were made to feel very welcome by all.
The building was very old and some of the facilities reflected this. Generally okay, but not the best value for money we've experienced.
Very reasonable cost, clean and comfortable Good breakfast
Friendly hosts, good evening meal available, traditional venue, not posh (which I like), just genuine person to person
Steep stairs, bar a bit dark
Friendly ownerBeds comfy
Poor cleanliness, standard of decoration/DIY very poor/dated. Our room Shared bathroom with owner, food was of a low standard, TV internet connection did not work so TV buffering.
An excellent cooked breakfast, good cider on the bar the previous night and my taste of music playing in the background
I have become a regular visitor here due to business related activities. Always welcoming and accommodating. Steve and Linda are fab.
The staff took excellent care of us when we had trouble booking a taxi. The room and bathroom were lovely and clean. Comfortable bed and very quiet - easy to get a good sleep.
The position, it was close to my destination.
Too expensive for what was offer, the state of the room (mould, no proper locking mechanism at the door). Breakfast was ok.
Very friendly with hard working staff, enjoyed the sport on TV together with the patrons. Hearty breakfast and evening meal Will return.
Couldn't get television to work, but not bothered that it didn't work. Parking was difficult as the road outside is narrow (but could park during the night). Is a Public Parking area near the Spa shop (which is excellent).
The owners were helpful and friendly. They recommended a visit to a lake nearby. The best piece of advise ever. We enjoyed riding the loop around the lake. Value for money accommodation, a nice little set up.
NA
Lovely old pub, nice location, in small village, staff friendly, lovely breakfast and comfy beds.
we went on a saturday and they had karioke from 9 so was a little noisy so i.d recommend taking earplugs just in case which i do anyway if you go bed before 1. But its what you.d expect from staying in a pub so it didnt really bother us.
Biker friendly.Made to feel very welcome.Great atmosphere in the pub.
Good breakfast and service, warm atmosphere and good Beer
Narrow staircase
Not much, there was considerable noise outside the Inn at night.
Noise at night no menu available at breakfast no room service.
The room was very clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was extremely spacious. The owners were very helpful, and my dogs were made to feel very welcome. Easy out-of-hours access for canine necessity! Great value all round.
The location was in a very scenic part if the country and the village itself was quite quaint.
The whole place was in need of serious refurbishment the decor was dirty and dingy and the room itself had a strange odour to it, the room we had had a shared bathroom and toilet and the toilet had no extractor fan in it. In the reviews I saw before I booked it said it was a quiet place but noise from the revellers was very loud and went on until well after midnight
