Staff were really helpful and welcoming throughout. Lovely spacious bathroom, fluffy towels and comfy bed. Really nice local cafe across the road where you can get a great breakfast or coffee.

Chosen as a base as location good for places we wanted to visit. Warm welcome by Paul who showed us to our room which was good, well decorated, spotlessly clean & the bed was very comfy. The pub bar & patio was a great place to relax and enjoy the food, drink and views across to Hastings and the sea. Service was excellent. Made very welcome by Paul and Ben.
Due to location we were on the side of at times a busy road, so be prepared for road noise.
Room was very clean. Staff we very helpful. Food was amazing
Comfortable room for one night. Lovely garden views
Lots of road noise if you are in a room at the front and if you are in the room by the door please remember to keep blinds down if you take a shower !!!
Brilliant view, rooms above a great foodie pub
They currently don’t do breakfast, but that is being rectified. Not a major issue- I was still full from an excellent meal the previous night in the pub
Lovely rooms, very clean. Pub was very welcoming with nice food and the staff were very helpful. It is a remote but lovely part of the countryside but a car is needed.
Just a single night stop over on our way to a classic car show.Greeted by Paul who was extremely efficient, helpful and friendly. The room and facilities were bright, clean and, I would guess, recently refurbished and decorated.Had an evening meal in the restaurant below which was superb and the staff were very attentive and polite. We would recommend both the accommodation and food.
The bar and restaurant was very comfortable and cosy, the outdoor area had amazing views towards Eastbourne and Hastings. The rooms were very clean and comfy with excellent beds and bathroom facilities. We stayed there as we were attending a wedding locally and with a separate entrance to the bedrooms ment we did not have to worry what time we got back.Would recommend the White Hart inn to all our friends and family.
The road was quite busy and noisy if you had the windows open.
Well presented facilities in a lovely area with great scenery
No breakfast available on site
Comfy bed. Good shower.
Very noisy road outside till late at night and very early next morning. It was a nightmare.
Lovely location and view, room was exceptionally clean, comfortable and pleasant to stay in and I would have extended my stay if I didn’t have a flight to catch! The facilities far better than expected, room well equipped and the tea and coffee making facilities very generous.
Nothing other than I was disappointed the bar was closed, but I totally understand the reasoning.
Friendly staff
It is advertised as being in Brightling but it isn’t it’s in the boring village of Netherfield. The room is bleak and very dated in decor, absolutely no feel of comfort or luxury. Cheap curtains and bedcover. View is interrupted by ugly modern roof and outdoor cool room. All night a thrum of a machine kept us awake, I think it was a fridge as it stopped and started.Bed wasn’t comfortable. Hard and no comfy mattress topper.Wildly overpriced.
Had rang earlier to ask if room could be ready after lunch as Had a wedding to attend. Had a lovely meal staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was ready and very clean.
The room was so clean as was the bathroom. The inn its self offered great food and the staff were so helpful and friendly. While sitting in the restaurant or outside you could enjoy the beautiful views. Would highly recommend .
