The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room was spotless and very cozy.

We stayed in Room 1 - 2 single beds as requested and very comfortable.The bathroom lacks flat spaces near the washbasin - the only space available is behind the wc.The window needs some work - the top reluctant to open.

The restaurant was excellent

You could not reach the manager by phone or email beforehand. Simply not answered. The room was tatty and the bed was tilted. The view just went on a carpark.

Location was good, facilities and room was excellent. We didn't breakfast as we both had dicky tummies from the day before, nothing to do with the hotel, so only tea and toast, but we've stayed before and had breakfast, which was one of the best we'd had.

Wasn't really anything we didn't like

The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. The breakfasts were delicious. Loved the quiet location.

Clean and tidy. Coffee machine in the room with plenty of supplies. Staff very friendly. Food excellent for both dinners and breakfast.

We could hear people in the next rooms walls rather thin.

Very comfortable and modern bedroom with excellent facilities.

The only negative is that the entrance is via the car park and so you must walk outside to access the restaurant and bar.

Location, was quiet and comfortable, good choice of pub food. Good amenities.

Family room had a strange layout with TV basically inaccessible. Bathroom was huge but with a tiny shower which didn't make sense and lots of dead floor space. Room was cold when we arrived. There were a few flies in the bedroom.

The Beresford Arms was a great stay. The room was clean, modern and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had the included breakfast which was delicious and served quickly.It's situated in a lovely location with plenty to do around.We would definitely plan a return visit.

An amazing ‘pub’ with rooms. Great room and the food is exceptional. Staff were, without exception, some of the best, friendly, helpful and obviously happy in their jobs. Will definitely return and will recommend to all our friends

One slight thing was we had to leave heavy luggage in the car as quite a narrow, steep staircase to get to our room. Didn’t take away at all from the lovely experience though

Would have liked them to syart serving breakfast at an earlier time so that I could have eaten in the restaurant.
