Friendly people, unpretentious hotel, perfect for us, good food.

    10GarethPosted on: 11-22-2025

Excellent breakfast included. Evening meals changing daily and a good range of wines.Rooms are very comfortable; we had a sea view which was good on clear days.

Nothing, the family have got things exactly right.

Breakfast excellent - plenty of great choices.View from one window very restful with partial sea view, other window not so much as over car park.Room was value for money.

    For the price, nothing.

It was welcoming, well decorated, friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was lovely and the breakfast room overlooked the sea, was lovely and relaxing.

A relaxing stay in comfortable surroundings with lovely friendly staff.

Decor maybe a little old-fashioned, but very comfortable

Nice quiet location with good parking on-site. Nice bar and excellent restaurant. Comfortable lounge area. Comfortable bed.Nice friendly staff.About 12-15 minutes drive from Falmouth.A couple of nice small sandy beaches on the way.

I stayed in early October when the nights were starting to get cold and yet the central heating system was still not yet on so the rom started to get cold. The TV in the room was quite small by modern standards.

Absolutely stunning location, the most pleasant staff and spotlessly clean.

    Didn’t want to leave!

    10PamPosted on: 10-3-2025

The staff were all very friendly and extremely helpful. We loved the idea of pre ordering breakfast so that everything was brought freshly cooked to your table. Dinner was excellent.

Beautiful clean comfortable hotel, excellently run with friendly helpful staff. The 2 dinners were delicious.

Next time we will book sooner to get a sea view room!

The property was located close to where we were attending a wedding, so that was ideal for us. Some rooms can accommodate a dog which was a bonus. It was clean and comfortable with a wide range of breakfast options.

We did not strongly dislike anything about the property. Worth noting that you gave to choose your breakfast the day before, but that was not too big an issue. Some rooms have a shower over the bath which is not ideal for anyone with mobility issues, so it’s worth talking to the venue about that on booking, some rooms have lovely low profile showers. A bit pricey but it was August in Cornwall, so everywhere is.

Great location. Great food. Not too far from Falmouth or the Lizard peninsula and lands end

    6SaraPosted on: 9-7-2025

Lovely setting near the beach and great views from the room. Very clean, plenty of storage.

Breakfast was average, toast was cold.Would have preferred yoghurt pots rather than being put in a dish.Small portions of jam and marmalade. Quite expensive for three star hotel.

Room comfortable, if a little small. Staff very friendly and efficient, and willing to provide anything extra if asked. Free and easy atmosphere. Never felt hassled. Lovely view from window. Overall a pleasant and quiet hotel.

Nothing detracted from a pleasant stay, which was for accommodation for a family wedding nearby. Only very slight disappointment was the single bed, but I knew that it would be a single in advance (no choice as it was a fairly late booking for a peak week). Some noise from water tank early morning, but understandable, as my room was on the second floor. Water pressure in shower was not very good, but again, to be expected on a second floor. Not a case if not liking it - I know that accommodation type is dictated by the physical properties and layout of the building - more a feeling that maybe the price could have been a little lower to reflect that.

breakfast, late check in, and lady staff on reception.

Sat Nav directions through difficult country lanes. dark and worrying for driver. We couldn't locate hotel until after 10.30pm. We had to ask at another hotel and found we had turned around just 100 yards form destination. had to phone hotel and they gave us tree with fairy lights. Would not recommend location due to difficulty we had. perhaps advise new bookings to go via main route to Falmouth.

Very helpful and pleasant staff, lovely room

No choice of a slim pillow but this is across the board, no-one ever offers a slim pillow.

    9GeraldPosted on: 7-17-2025

View was spectacular. Quiet and restful stay with enjoyable breakfast and evening meals.

A car is needed as distance to any walking paths was long.
