- Our 3rd stay at 1692, always guaranteed a great experience with the rooms, the staff and the food.
- The property was beautiful, very clean and lots of little extras in the room that made it feel homely. Location was fantastic there were lots of walks to choose from, the breakfast was fab the choices were good. We have already booked to stay again in the bigger rooms in a couple of weeks so would definitely recommend.

- Only bad thing was the room above us woke us up both mornings / silly times in the night.

Issue number 1- failed to get access to hot tub due to there only being one hot tub and several possible guest with the abundance of space could have more than hot tub .Issue number 2 on leaving whilst settling honesty bar bill was also told there was a extra charge for dog after are stay when on initial payment for dog there was no mention of additional charge for pets just said pet friendly ?♂️
- The mattress was hard and the pillows had no substance to them so we didn't get the best night's sleep. We could hear the room downstairs too so not well insulated. We could hear their TV and them talking until 1am.

The property is amazing, Steve and Faith have done an amazing job, from the decor to the breakfast… and the hot tub was simply perfect. Steve helped us with finding some trekking locations and faith provided great instructions and directions. The room was amazingly clean with beautiful touches like chocolates and rose petals. I had requested champagne and the team delivered beautifully. I would highly recommend this property and can only look forward to visiting again.

Perfect location for exploring the area and great pubs in Gosforth.Spotless, modern, well equipped rooms with large shower (we had the Collie room) luxury linen, towels, and toiletries.

The staff were all lovely and so were the owners, very polite people, breakfast was lovely so was the hot tub, I would recommend to any couple with no doubt
Loved the location, the grounds, the natural history of the building with the brickwork. Lovely marriage of cabin/luxurious lifestyle.
Clean, modern, accessible
From start to finish our stay was wonderful. We were given the warmest welcome and shown to our spotless stylish room. Everything is so organised from the breakfasts to the hot tub schedule. The hot tub is fantastic with picturesque views. The breakfast is delicious with lots to choose from and the complimentary cake is such a lovely touch. We will be recommending it to everyone.
Loved the surrounding area (with the alpacas). The room & bed were both super comfortable to stay in. Really enjoyed all the little touches in the decor and the services provided (cake in the afternoon, breakfast was amazing, great recommendations of nearby restaurant, the mini bar had tons of options). Staff very friendly and welcoming. Very close to the deepest lake in England - would definitely come back and stay here!

Personal preference but the bathroom door was made of glass which felt weird! A couple ignored the polite notice & brought their dogs into the dining area during breakfast service!
Staff were very friendly. Clean and well furnished room. Really good breakfast choice and quality. Nice little touches like a cake put out everyday for guests to eat free of charge and an on site hot tub
Beautiful place, really friendly host. The room was really nicely decorated, & clean, loved the bathroom! The honesty bar and homemade cake was a lovely touch! We lucked out and got the entire place to ourselves, lovely living room area! We had breakfast in the morning that was all fresh and tasty!
The property is welcoming and the dining area pleasant. A nice selection, delicious cooked breakfast and nice touch with the freshly baked bread. Room was comfortable, relaxing and well equipped.

Everything was faultless, quality and variety of the breakfasts were superb, perfectly cooked and presented.Everything you need and more is catered for.We loved the luxury, the peace, the style of decor and the location. We were made to feel extremely welcome by amazing Staff and Owners.We recommend you book direct via the Website or by phone.
