Pros +
- The views, location and accommodation, we would live there if we could! We initially had intentions of exploring more of that part of Scotland but we ended up spending the majority of our time at sunnybrae just relaxing, kayaking and enjoying the peace. We will definitely return!
- The location is wonderful, with wide views of Cuan sound. Good birdwatching potential and you are close to the ferry crossing so plenty of interest there too. The caravans are surprisingly spacious inside, and well equipped. There are also fishing nets and bikes to borrow/rent.
- Location and views, surroundings etc were amazing, couldn't have asked for more.
Cons -
- A few more utensils , vessels in the kitchen. I'm sure if we'd asked they may have provided but not everyone likes to ask. Water pressure for the shower not great but we knew this in advance.
- Restrictions on access to the island, the day had to be planed in order to arrive back for the last ferry at 18h15.

Tiana was an exceptional host and the island is one if the most beautiful spots we have been to. The view is outstanding. The accommodtaion was a mobile home and everything you needed.
A great place to get away from the city
Restrictions on access to the island, the day had to be planed in order to arrive back for the last ferry at 18h15.
Beautiful caravan right on the waters edge. We saw a pair of golden eagles, pair of sea eagles and a kestrel within the first 2 hours.
A small peaceful park on the shoreline with outstanding views across the bay

Fantastic viel from the caravan, sensible caravan site: composter, friendly and extremly helpfull staff.
The location is stunning, got to see so much wildlife and beautiful scenery. Everything you need was there in the caravan. Greeted on arrival and was given useful information about the surrounding areas. Locals made us feel really welcome. Visited the Atlantic Centre amazing food.
The situation, the solitude and the ambience of the site and the island.
We understand the size limitations with everything having to come by ferry, but the space in the vans is not ideal.

Everything in the motorhome was super well maintained and clean. Sea view from the motorhome - we saw a couple of seals. This island is less touristy, there is one shop, one restaurant and that's it:)The hike to Cullipool through Cnoc hill has great views. For those looking to reset and enjoy the silence.
The scenery was stunning and it was so quiet and peaceful. Liked watching the yachts and fishing boats sailing back and forth. A big thank you to Paul,Tiana and Sue for taking the time to stop and have a chat.Makes a difference when the owners spend some time with you and give advice on what to see and do.

The Sunday ferry timetable ?. My fault though. Should have checked when I booked!
Loved the location and accommodation and the owners were very friendly and helpful. It was so peaceful and relaxing, we had a fantastic time and Sunnybrae and will definitely be back.
The location was beautiful with views across the sound. We often woke up to see seals and other wildlife in the water! We also appreciated that we were able to arrange the charging of our electric car at the property and were able to bring our dog along for the adventure. Both were arranged for an additional charge.
The island is a little bit more challenging to get to because of the ferry crossing. Although not a huge hindrance, it is something to consider both in terms of working with the ferry crossing times and the additional cost of the ferry crossings. It did add a sense of adventure to the stay and we never had issues with the ferry - it runs incredibly reliably.

Fantastic place and facilities at the waterfront and above all the hospitality of both the owners and local residents.

Location was superb - right on the sea-side, fabulous wildlife. Good standard of accommodation. Lovely outdoor seating. Quiet site.
Only slight niggle was size of main bedroom - very narrow gap round bed resulting in numerous bruises! But size of home forewarned so should have brought shin pads ?
