Pros +
- Interesting old building, good food downstairs at the pub/restaurant.
- The staff were friendly, the food & bar was great
- NA as we had to leave at 7.15 and breakfast isn't served until 7.30
Cons -
- Internet was down, but not the hotels fault, it was down in all of Corrie.
- The size of the room was very small, a paid for water front for a boat window
- Bedroom at top level of hotel So many stairs The very helpful staff member seeing my disability offered to get us a room at a lower level which she did We moved to another room and then were told that we would have to move back upstairs even though we had started to unpack So we went back upstairs .This room said private bathroom which I presumed was in the room but it was two doors down ! The fire alarm went off three times and I was very concerned as some guests had started to evacuate I phone reception as I didn't feel fit enough to dash downstairs and was assured that the hotel was not on fire ! The staff were all very kind and location great but it was no use for someone like me who has difficulties with stairs Also as we were leaving early to catch ferry before breakfast and as no offer of early breakfast was made It might have been kind of them to offer a refund for the breakfast as a good will gesture

Very clean rooms, comfortable beds, nice little extras like robes and slippers provided for shared bathrooms. Great food!
lication, staff, cleanliness, seal carvimg
Very good "full scottish" breakfast. Very nice, easy going and friendly staff.
This was our second trip to the Corrie hotel and it won’t be the last! The staff are all so friendly and welcoming, and the food is amazing. We opted to eat in the bar both nights of our stay as the atmosphere and food are so good there. It’s a dog friendly hotel where the owners truly welcome dogs to the property which meant our whole family could enjoy a relaxing stay. I really can’t fault this place and am already looking forward to the next trip
food at breakfast
having a separate bathroom in the hallway rather than en-suite in the room (not spotted when booked)
The sea view, the Roberts radio and the under floor heating in the bathroom!
Excellent staff, friendly & helpful
Should have advertised upfront there was no TV & barely any internet
Exceptional staff in a gorgeous hotel. Can't recommend it highly enough. Staff were engaging and friendly. Location was heavenly. The fire pit at night was a lovely touch. Thank you
The food was very good and the staff, location and atmosphere were all really good.
I thought the room was overpriced. For that price it felt the room was a bit cramped and the bathroom was very small, but it was perfectly comfortable.
What a wonderful welcome and stay we’ve had. All the staff were super helpful and nice and the location of the hotel is a slice of heaven. My partner was attending a local event and was a great base. I was there for rest and relaxation and was equally great for that too.The garden with the firepit was perfect for March nights and our dog had the best time. We never felt awkward with our wee dog which made it all the nicer. Lots of great local walks. We stayed in the Holy Isle room and loved being able to open the windows to wake to the sound of the waves and see along the beach and island. The food was great and a large selection of choices. Many thanks all, we’ll can’t wait to come back.
Beautiful perfectly run hotel. Great location. Immaculate room and lovely food. Staff are just lovely. Hotel towels smell divine.
Great stop, food excellent, great Staff ,stunning views and value for money. Will go back.
Food was lovely
Room was cold and very cramped
The location is beautiful right next to the sea, I had a single room which was a perfect size for me and my dog, the view is gorgeous from the room. Breakfast was great lots of options! The staff are so friendly. It's my 3rd stay at this hotel, they make you feel so welcome (and they love dogs too!)
Lovely location friendly staff.excellent for dogs
Food could have been more adventurous but of high standard
Service from staff impeccableVery cleanLocationFood perfect
Location was super. Dog friendly. Recently upgraded on ground and 1st floors to a very high spec. Staff friendly and welcoming. Food and menus above average.
Our room was located on the top floor and we’re not spring chickens. The hotel is popular so no other available rooms on the first floor. It didn’t spoil our stay and we would return and request a room on a lower floor.
