The Sitwell Arms Hotel

Room was very clean and spacious, Bathroom was great and very relaxing bath tub. Staff extremely helpful and informative, Would definitely stay again. Restaurant was excellent with plenty of choice for me and my daughter.

Well Ino it was a wedding but we stayed at a. Room at the front and the staff were out there with guest from 2 am till 5 am and I couldn’t sleep you would of expected them to keep guests a little quiet rather than add to the party specially when people have to drive home early in the morning !

The dirty cushions put back on the bed! Clean them or throw them out. Stained towels, again throw them out. I would have told reception in the morning but no one was on the desk.

Location perfect for me, I dined 3 times during my stay, food was delicious every time, the lounge staff super attentive, homely and professional, reception the same, a warm genuine smile and “hi” each time I passed reception, the breakfast team also very attentive, swift and efficient, just what you need in the morning. Overall a I had a great relaxing weekend

The carpets are really in need of an update, the corridor to the hotel room is awful, the room itself had the flimsiest curtains and blinds that did nothing to prevent the light coming in all night. Hoovering began at 10.30pm and went on for a while. The bed was hard and uncomfortable. The shower curtain needs replacing. I wouldn’t be staying again anyway but it did for 1 night for work.

Would prefer the week day price to be lower for All us hard working self employed people who have to pay our expenses. Surely it’s better to be full at A lower rate than have a load of empty rooms. My folks had like a mini centre parks and always full as Reduced the prices last minute

Welcoming, efficient and good quality hotel at a reasonable price. Breakfast and dinner good too

Staff excellent, food good, room lovely size but very hot because our radiator couldn’t turn off we had to have windows open at night and which made it very noisy.

Tv too far away from bed, cleanliness not the best and staff quite rude I thought as I got there hour before check in and they made a big deal out of it

So comfortable. Arrived late and tired. Unfortunately had a room at the back of the hotel where the wedding was going on.

Lightning in room was very poor, curtains are about a foot off the window so let’s all the light in, not the cleanest of rooms.Food for a wedding was undercooked

Very poor service and unwelcoming. Rooms hidden at back of property and not even guided to them. Just given keys and basically go find them yourselves. 4 Asian guys and we seemed to get a negative , racist feeling from the start. Never in our time as frequent travellers due to our work have we experienced such poor service and such neglect.

Easy access for the M1, welcoming reception, room was clean and a good size, evening meal and breakfast were excellent. The gym looked good and well equipped.

Only thing, the bed was a bit soft. But it won’t put me off next time.

The comfort of the room and the bar and food was great. The staff was very friendly and couldn't do enough to help you .Room was clean and very comfortable.

The facilities are great, the room was lovely and clean. The breakfast was one of the best I've had and the staff were all so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend and will stay here again for sure :)

Late check in, excellent gym facilities, just off the motorway, so perfect stop over on way north
