Pros +
- Spotlessly clean throughout with good facilities and great food.
- The Parson Woodforde is a charming bed and breakfast not too far off from the heart of Norwich. It has a very cozy vibe and the free breakfast was phenomenal. The location advertises an English breakfast, but there are other options available as well; so, if staying for several days, you do not have to eat the same thing each morning. Additionally, the pub/restaurant upon which the rooms are atop of had a spectacular menu. Even if you are not able to stay in one of the rooms, it may be worth your while to come out just for the food. The room itself had a TV (which I didn't really use), access to free WiFi, and complimentary coffee/tea-making appurtenances. There was service each day to provide a restock on items as well (water bottles, toilet paper, etc.). The location is slightly off the beaten path, so you won't have to worry about too much traffic. The staff, both for the rooms and the restaurant, were very friendly as well.
- Friendly welcome. Polite efficient staff. Very clean comfortable room. Great food.
Cons -
- This didn't bother me (because I knew what I was getting into), but some may consider the rooms a bit small. If the size of your room is a concern, then you should keep this in mind. Additionally, it is not exactly walking distance from anything; so, you will likely need to drive to any location you wish to check out. Otherwise, it was a pleasure to stay at The Parson Woodforde.
- Nothing to dislike.
- Blind on velux window flew upIn night , therefore room quite light from early morning . Did not want to wake other users by attempting to rectify with the pole . Also quite stuffy as very warm .

Friendly welcome. Polite efficient staff. Very clean comfortable room. Great food.
Very friendly staff, very comfortable room, lovely food with a good choice for breakfast, good value overall. If we are ever in the area again this is where we'll stay
The staff at the Parson Woodforde are wonderful. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast choices are extensive and very good. Also, the pub fare is fantastic. Our second stay here and not likely to be the last!
Nothing to dislike.
The rooms were nice the bed was comfy and the food was amazing

Lovely place to stay. Room was very clean with lots of storage. Bed was extremely comfortable.Breakfast was delicious and so were the evening meals. Staff were brilliant.Couldn't do enough. A brilliant team in a lovely country setting.
Quiet location with car parking, exceptional breakfast and excellent choice of good quality evening meals. Convenient location for exploring Norwich and surrounding areas.
Rooms could be on the chilly side.
The staff, the welcome and especially the food were all excellent.
Nothing I can think of.
Beautiful property that we've visited many times. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. Food is delicious for those eating meat but not much creativity for vegans (specifically the evening). Breakfast though had plenty of options for all. The only minor thing was the dish served differed from the menu description.
Clean roomPlaces to park
Bed was uncomfy
Everything. Food, rooms and staff all brilliant. Very comfortable beds. Excellent menu and great breakfast
En suite in room. The toilet was squeezed in between the bath and wall. A bit snug.
Breakfast excellent. Room spotless and staff friendly and helpful. Evening meals also very good
Excellent food! Staff were brilliant, Luke and Owen couldn't do enough for us. Mark & Marie have a great team! We can't wait to stay again!
Going home!
THE COOKED BREAKFAST WAS EXCELLENT,BUT THE CERALS ON OFFER HAD NOTHING TO COMPLIMENT THEM(MILK YOGURT OR FRUIT) I ASKED FOR YOGURT BUT WAS TOLD THE KITCHEN DIDNT HAVE ANY ALSO NO MARMALADE OR JAM TO GO WITH THE TOAST
I was booked a Garden View room and all I could see from the window was roof tiles (Room 2).Also the room was cold I arrived at 11pm and couldn't get any heat from the radiators
Situation was lovely and quiet and nice pub with restaurant
No heat in our room. We did ask and even when they said they had put heat on it still did not come on : making bathroom very cold after a shower. Also cold tap took ages toRun cold. Mattress very soft and uncomfortable
Location and staff were excellent. Dinner was good. Nice ambience in the restaurant. Cooked breakfast was very good.
Orange juice at breakfast was just coloured water, awful.Bathroom was extremely cramped.Although the room was very nice and comfortable, describing it as de luxe is perhaps a slight exaggeration.
The Parson Woodforde is a lovely pub in Weston Longville about a 20 minute drive from Norwich. Our double room with ensuite was quite compact but still very comfortable. The angled ceilings with skylights made the room feel very spacious and it was nice we could open the skylights to let some fresh air in, as the room was quite toasty. It was nice having our own ensuite and we enjoyed the hot shower. The pub itself is full of old english character and is very comfy and cosy. The breakfast was excellent and the dining menu is not your regular pub fare. All three nights of our stay we ate at the pub and believe you would be hard pressed to find a better place to eat. The staff were lovely, very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend if you are in the Norwich area and want an old english pub experience, definitely worth a stay.
