Location.

Access upon arrival...My iPhone Access to e-mail failed and I didn't receive the keyboard code. There should be someone available to admit new guests. Absence of bottled water. Odor of spice from the restaurant

Location, cozy, clean

Carrying a suitcase up 2 flights of stairs.

Stayed on the way to Sunderland ( from West Cumbria ). Lovely room , good location, great view. Lovely small ( much appreciated) touches - sweets,chocs , biscuits etc .

Really can't think of anything.

didnt have breakfast room modern very clean having fridge and safe very good and excellent little extras to welcome you like sweets

crack in sink which is an old one, also tv was usless as couldnt get it on but didnt need it really

Being from the US it was a bit warm w/o AC but the fan was much appreciated. Being older the stairs was a concern at first but we managed. All in all it was truly a great location & met our needs! TY!

Everything worked well - but it was a bit strange for me getting the keys out of box 4 under instructions from the owner who was in the Lake District with poor reception on his phone..

The noise from the extractor fan from the business next door- kitchen at work? Was a constant disturbance until it stopped around midnight..

Parking was easy, free and nearby. The key box worked well and our room was attractive, clean and just as described with plenty of space, a cool breeze, and toiletries. The bar looked lively and beautiful when we passed by. Our room was quiet (Sunday evening), smelled fine and had a good view. The hotel is in a very short walking distance to grocery and general stores as well as good restaurants and views of the sea. Looking for sea glass at the beach was a big hit with the teen. We liked that the town did not feel touristy.

In case soft vs firm is of interest, the bed in the family room was really soft, but we still slept fine.

We enjoyed our stay.

The location is perfect to take the bus, train and walk places. It is close to the coastline, shops and restaurants. It has a refrigerator. Paula , the cleaning staff, was very helpful and friendly. The place was quiet and comfortable.

We were very impressed by our room; modern, comfortable and a great view of the North Sea! There was free parking nearby, plus an excellent fish and chip restaurant.

I couldn't fault this hotel or the lovely young ladies serving behind the bar during the day in the pub. The accommodation had everything we needed and in the perfect location. We'll certainly return.

Nothing really. If we're being picky, perhaps a shower mat inside the shower.

Room very comfortable, great location, Indian restaurant under rooms , bus hub and beach very near

It's on the 2nd floor, no lift if you have a disability would not recommend

The room was decorated nicely and well equipped

The neighbours across the hall were extremely loud until about 5am, they even had sex in the CORRIDOR! And banged on our door a couple times

We stayed here two weekends on the trot due to work in the area and we love waking up to the sea out the window. Location is fantastic

I liked how helpful Andy and his team were. Room was tidy and clean.

The rooms are very hot even when it isn't warm outside. Bed was not that comfortable and pillows were hard.

The very close location to all amenities, the room was modern, coordinated, well equipped and spacious. It was clean. Plenty of towels and bedding.

No parking, noisy as it is on the main street in town, up several flights of stairs, the security - the front door was always open and the door to the room was only an internal door with one lock. The bed mattresses and furniture has seen better days and were uncomfortable. It will be very hot in summer and very cold in the winter as it is the top of the house, above a restaurant.

We love staying here when working nearby. Beautiful sunrise in the morning. The communication is great, rooms are clean and location is near to all amenities.

Location

The bathroom was not cleaned well. There was no hand or body soap, and the beds are not comfortable. Felt like sleeping directly on the springs.

Room was not clean bathroom dirty ,bedside table sticky with cup rings.

Property was in a great location. Property had clean linen on beds. Surfaces and bath had not been cleaned there were pubes in the baths. The lack if cleaning put us off.
