Historical Edinburgh can be reached in 30 minutes’ drive, and Dawyck Gardens are a 20-minute drive away.

- Food was fabulous both evening meal and breakfast. Bed and pillows very comfortable.
- The food in the associated gastropub was excellent! Highly recommended! The room was clean, very comfortable, and exactly what I needed for an overnight stay with my dogs. Parking was easy.
- Great location, really lovely rooms with all the extra touches. Dinner in the hotel was delicious too. Highly recommended.
Cons -
- The bathroom although lovely and clean could have done with a couple of pipes being tightened also the bedroom windows could have done with an update but it was charming.
- I couldn't find anybody or any information for an unexpected early checkout before 7am, but left the keys in the door to the room.
