- Everyone was very friendly and the food was excellent. Very central for exploring and we liked the friendly supportive attitude of the people who worked and frequented the place. The landlord deserved a medal for running off to help one of the villagers with a problem, that great village support and looking out for each other.

Everyone was very friendly and the food was excellent. Very central for exploring and we liked the friendly supportive attitude of the people who worked and frequented the place. This is a beautiful little inn in the Dorset countryside what a little gem! The service is second to none and the food is sublime! We had a fantastic time and felt fully welcomed by everyone in this wonderful little close knit community.
There was nothing that we didn't like to he honest
It was very quiet which was good. The breakfast was excellent.
The room was described as being de-luxed but it was very basic. The bin hadn't been emptied in the room and a glass was still partly full of water which had obviously been used. No toiletries provided so no hand wash etc.. There was no information re: meal times evening meals or times of breakfast which would have been useful.
It has everything, a great location, a warm welcome, great beers and food and fantastic rooms.
The owner had not long taken over the property but was doing an amazing job. We were made very welcome and nothing was too much trouble

Breakfast and dinners were excellent with plenty of range and great food.The staff were excellent , we had a lovely surprise when we were told the Morris Men where coming one night while we were there. They were great fun , interesting and entertaining. We wish the previous owners a relaxing future and all the best to the new owners. Thank you form the Australians.
Comfortable room and very quiet
Nothing really.. The shower temperature was hard to control but it was powerful.
