The staff!!!!!!! They are beyond lovely, we celebrated our son’s 11th birthday there at a moments notice. In 24hrs they pulled all stops to make sure he had a beautiful birthday cake freshly baked onsite, if that isn’t going above and beyond then I don’t know what is. Thank you Team Hillbrook, we are beyond Grateful for it all.
An extremely user friendly hotel - comfort in the right places and very comfortable bedding, shower and cleanliness
There was nothing we didn’t like
Beautifully clean, lovely friendly staff, spacious well appointed room.
Location on a busy road junction however the windows were excellent at keeping noise out.
This was a really nice hotel, with such lovely staff, it’s a shame I was only able to stay for one nightIn that time though I met the lovely and funny receptionist Nadine, the highly professional and skilled massage therapist Tay, and then the helpful and attentive waiter Joe, whoever you communicate with at this hotel seems to be a pleasant experience, a place I will definetly stay againI have included some photos, unfortunately I only seem to take photos of food though lol
Room was excellent - lots of space, and very nice soaps/shampoos etc. There was a good choice of food if you wanted a cooked breakfast. Nice to have a car park as the town centre was very busy.
I thought the Continental breakfast was rather limited compared with other hotels we have stayed in.
Lovely hotel, clean and tidy. Will definitely be back. Have stayed twice now.
The bright green light that stays on all night on the ceiling by the door. Far to bright, can't get to sleep. Had to put an elastoplast over it to cover it up.
Lovely room- very clean and well resourced and decorated. All the staff were polite and efficient.Spa massage was excellent.
The restaurant and entrance area lacked any real ambience and were too brightly lit to be cosy and welcoming- which is a shame as the staff were great. The hotel is located close to a busy road and, although we were on the side away from the main road and asked for a quiet room, we could still hear it through the night.
everything was great
I checked in early . I was not notified that I have to pay extra. I was surprised to pay more at checkout.
Very nicely decorated. Helpful and friendly staff. Very clean and modern facilities. Excellent breakfast menu and high quality food. Good sized room. Left a crème egg in our room for Easter, which was a really nice touch.
Internal noise transfer was a problem, which was surprising given it’s such a new hotel. Next door’s wardrobe doors banging, hallway doors and, most significantly, the screeching of chairs downstairs could be heard at 7am! Little green light in entrance of room (fire alarm I assume) lit the room up at night and kept my wife awake. Shower didn’t get as hot as we would expect. It was fine, but top temp was not hot enough.
Spacious room. Main bed very comfortable and large. Lovely bathroom. Great breakfast.
The sofa bed that had been set up for the children was lumpy and uncomfortable.
Amazing stay - room is gorgeous and staff are friendly and attentive.
Location was perfect for a wedding we were attending, staff were great and we couldn’t believe how beautiful the hotel and our room was (great value for money).
Only one slight issue and that was just that the cooked breakfast took a while to come out (about 40/45 mins) but other than that it was a lovely stay and we’ll be back!
The hotel was extremely comfortable and clean, smartly decorated without being clinical. The room was very spacious while also feeling cosy and inviting. Every staff member we spoke to was genuinely friendly and very accommodating. We were able to be in a lovely quiet room on request, and it was no problem having an unusual breakfast option change when required due to my child’s current difficulty with food aversions. Also more than ideally situation for the purpose of our visit.
Lovely roomFriendly staff Good food
The only thing would be lack of adequate shelving, hooks etc in bathroom for all toiletries, etc everything else was great!
