The location and the staff were excellent, Malpas is a quaint village with a surprising choice of restaurants bars and shops.

Nothing to complain about I would revisit.

Lovely room, very comfortable bed and a nice shower. Felt very calm and relaxed here.Superb breakfast! The staff were nice and friendly.

Great to have some good vegan options in the restaurant. The hotel room and surrounding areas were beautifull and spotless. I really enjoyed my stay!

I felt the restaurant experience was a little confusing, it wasn't clear where to order/ get menus from. Eventually, a bar member left the bar and took my food order from the hotel check-in desk as she could see I was struggling to get anywhere with the restaurant staff., she was very helpful but all felt a bit chaotic and stressful.

Friendly staff, great room. Pub with good food and beer on site.

EV charger not working, annoying as I had booked this location specifically because it had an EV charger.Staff at pub disclaimed all responsibility even though it's in their car park.

Amazing room, we stayed in ‘The Bakery’ room 8. Fantastic restaurant, chilled atmosphere and excellent food and lovely staff. Will definitely go back.

We were very impressed with the accommodation and the quality of the decor and furnishings in both our en-suite room and the pub itself. Both beautifully finished to a very high standard. Staff were super-friendly and helpful..

We met with an old school-friend of my wife's for dinner. Unfortunately the food was a little disappointing. I had the "Pork Ribeye" my wife had the mussels and our friend the fish and chips. Mine was rather tough while the mussels were in a bright green sauce and were overcooked. However, all of the dishes were reasonably priced.

Lovely warm & cosy feel to the hotel, beautifully decorated & very well set out. Staff worked very hard & were happy to help out with any requirements.

Only problem was the lighting in the room. There was nowhere with a close mirror & good lighting for ladies to make up. Seems most hotels have this fault unfortunately !

Booked a king suite which instead of having a double bed, had two twins pushed together. Made for a very uncomfortable nights sleep. The sink was filled with dirty water when we arrived and the plug wouldn’t come out. Told a member of staff who said he would sort. Came back from a wedding after midnight and it was still left how we found it. Had to mess about putting hands in dirty water to prize the plug out otherwise we’d of had no sink. When we arrived to check in, dressed to go to a wedding, the gentleman behind the bar serving drinks didn’t even acknowledge us. Left us stood there with our cases. It wasn’t until I asked if we were in the right place to check in he told us to “give him a minute.” Found this really rude and ignorant as did the rest of the group

Really lovely accommodation, smart pub and rooms. Staff were very friendly and the breakfast was delicious! Great value for money and conveniently located for a wedding we were attending locally.

Breakfast was really good. The room was great with great facilities and a great bathroom. Great tea and coffee provided. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the restaurant and pub are great.

No fridge in the room. Shower glass had a massive gap in it so floor was soaked. Room was very warm. Bed was not king sized.
