The Bridge House Restaurant and Hotel

The staff of the hotel was amazing! Helped us with everything we needed and was exceptionally nice. The food in the restaurant was great and overall one of the best stays I ever had! Would highly recommend for people staying in the area or visiting Alton towers!

Location perfect for Alton towers but also felt peaceful after a busy day at the theme park. Next to a pub with a great garden for food and drink. Breakfast was delicious but not included in the price but that was stated.

Very slight damp smell but only very slight

Quirky charming room, nicely furnished although rather small, particularly if you are travelling with suitcases. Not really enough room to open cases and move around. Pretty location near the river and lovely outside space.

Room too compact for a comfortable stay if, like us, you are on a longer trip with large suitcases. The electric shower is fine but needs instructions as it is not straight forward to operate.

Lovely clean room, good facilities, comfy bed lovely hosts.

The walls are very thin and you are able to hear everything that goes on in the property. We were woken up at 5.30am the first morning by a women talking loudly on the telephone and couldn't work our where the noise was coming from. The walls are so thin that we could hear the person on the phone that they were talking to. We were also kept awake by the same thing happening at midnight that same night after being woken up very early that morning. Did not get restful sleep while staying here. Unfortunately this is a big negative for us staying somewhere even though everything else about the stay and hotel was really nice.

The room was gorgeous. The bathroom was amazing, lovely deep bath and the beds were so comfortable. The staff were lovely and couldn’t do any more for you. The breakfast was cooked fresh and tasted delicious.

Staff absolutely outstanding and food delicious especially Thai cooked by Benny she is a fabulous cook and welcoming lady .

This establishment is fantastic the staff are very accommodating and the hotel is spotless it’s located 5 minutes away from Alton towers and it has a beautiful beer garden can’t wait to visit again the staff in here go above and beyond I highly recommend booking to stay here x

Really clean room! The bathroom was lovely. Thai food was absolutely incredible and breakfast was just as good. Lovely area with a beautiful beer garden and just 2 minutes from Alton Towers.

Clean, a great location, lovely front of house Benny. Her food is 100/10! You won’t be disappointed. The beer garden is beautiful on a sunny day.

Bedroom was lovely, location great for alton towers. However upon arrival the door was locked so had to message and wait 20 mins to get in. The restaurant was shut and so was the bar area, got told the pub next door was serving food but it wasn't it. Had to go find another eating venue which wasn't what we wanted.

Being close to alton towers, the restaurant downstairs was LOVELY food, bathroom was pretty

Bed was uncomfortable, room was small, blood on the bedsheet before we used it, cobwebs, free coffee tasted like ass, no bin, no chair to get ready, headboard uncomfortable and room was cold despite following the rooms instructions to turn the heating on. Shower confusing and small bathroom. Staff were mostly good but a little awkward with us on arrival not super inviting, and no one was their for us to check out so we had to just leave our key at the bar as our cab was waiting. Extremely overpriced none of this would have bothered me if it wasnt so expensive for one night. (The blood on the sheet and cold room was really shit tho)

Stayed for one night, had Thai for dinner, and breakfast the next day. The food was amazing from start to finish. The room was spotless and very well catered with tea/coffee facilities, soaps, shower gels shampoos. The host was lovely and looked after us throughout our stay. Ideal location of you are visiting Alton Towers.Would definitely use again.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel and just a 4 minute drive from Alton towers so chose purely for the location,however there's more to this place than just convenience! Upon arrival we were greeted by Benny who was absolutely lovely and so accomadating. She showed us to our room which was beautiful. Very spacious and victorian style decor.We had our evening meal in the restaraunt below which served authentic Thai food.My partner had never tried Thai before so he just chose random dishes from the menu. I'm not lying when I say this was the BEST meal I've eaten in a restaurant. Every dish was so tasty and cooked to perfection. My partner also agreed and is now wanting to order Thai food this weekend ? Breakfast was also fantastic,Benny cooked us both a full English,but could also choose from several different cereals,waffles, croissants,fruit and yogurt. Highly recommend staying here and we will certainly be booking again next time we visit Alton towers.

Nothing! If I had to complain about something, it would be that the noise of the water running from the other rooms can be quite loud

I made a last-minute booking at the Bridge House Restaurant and Hotel with my teenage Son and it exceeded all expectations. The stay was extremely comfortable, the service went above and beyond. I truly appreciated the attention to detail and warm hospitality. We look forward to returning :)Shona & Jake

Wasn't made aware of needing to book a table for restaurant on arrival. Few cobwebs in the room.

The room was Beautiful. Clean and welcoming. Very comfy bed. Staff were welcoming. Excellent location for alton towers.

We paid extra to have a bath in the room for medical reasons. However there was no hot water, when we called down, a staff member came up and said someone before us had switched off the hot water to the room and we would need to wait. After an hour and a half, there was still no hot water so gave up waiting and went to bed. In the morning, there was enough hot water to fill half the bath, after this it was cold again. Shower was also cold. A shame as otherwise a lovely stay however I wasted money paying extra for a room with a bath.

Benny and her team were warm and welcoming & went out of their way to accommodate me and make my stay as comfortable as possible. I had several very tasty Thai meals at the Bridge House cooked by the multi talented Benny. I look forward to my next visit

It was very cosy and the owner was absolutely lovely. We felt very looked after and they made our stay personal and amazing. We loved that the proximity to Alton towers and the amazing food in their restaurant!

The bed was a bit too soft but that’s my personal preference and not necessarily a bad thing.
