Pros +
- Rooms were clean
- Location. The breakfast was good - varied
- The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food in the restaurant was exceptional. We enjoyed looking out over the lake to see the people learning to wake board. We have made a note to return to this location on our next stay. EXCELLENT!
Cons -
- No atmosphere, no background music etc understaffed and overwhelmed Staff could t cope with bar service so gables etc weren’t being cleaned during customer sittings
- The sports bar ambience: worst of all the 'garden room' - appalling - a view of a brick pile and weeds
- My husband thought the bed was too hard, but it didn’t bother me. The room was large and beautifully furnished.

Very helpful host, well-appointed room with every supply and snack we could want, comfortable beds, convenient location.
The staff treated us like family! The view was gorgeous.
My husband thought the bed was too hard, but it didn’t bother me. The room was large and beautifully furnished.
The rooms are redone, clean, and pretty spacious providing a good value for your money! Loved the shower :) and we got a loch view room, which was so pretty to wake up to. We stayed in Lochearnhead because it was close to Glencoe and location was great. Staff is VERY helpful and gave clear after hours arrival instructions when we had to arrive past check-in time. Breakfast was great, sad we didn’t get to eat at the restaurant, but it pops up as top places to eat in the area.
A fantastic location on the side of a beautiful loch, with watersports available. We were able to sit outside for drinks then a meal in glorious sunshine watching the activities on the water. Bed was very comfortable and the room was clean.
Evening menu was a little limited but adequate for a one-night stay. Would have appreciated a cooked breakfast (a treat whilst on holiday) but the continental breakfast was good and the staff very pleasant.Stair carpet was grubby in places.
The staff were lovely. Despite being very busy, they remained calm, kind and very accommodating. Rhoda (the manager) and Louisa looked after us very well.
Absolutely no discredit to the those working, but more staff would have only improved the experience.
The location OMG it's so beautiful, I slept and woke up to an amazing view. The staff was so helpful and nice, guided on places to visit also. The location is good, you can do nearby mountains.or even visit Glencoe easily. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh (if you opt for a cooked one).
Had a very fresh feel. Loved the decor of the bedrooms and the reception area.
Had to wait a long time at the bar to be checked in when we first arrived. The reception area was unattended which made it feel a little uninviting.
Nice hotel right on Loch Earn, beautiful views. My room was huge and nicely furnished. Comfortable bed. Nice tables out front to enjoy a drink and watch the boats. Very pleasant staff. I ate one night in the restaurant and it was very good.
It’s quite remote, so there’s nothing nearby to walk to and a bit of a drive to the nearest towns.
The property was in a lovely location brilliant views of the loch lovely bar area inside seating outside as well live music on the Saturday night staff where all friendly and welcoming and the food was very nice
The only thing about the stay was that the hotel only done a continental breakfast which wasn’t included
Everything was great. Beautiful quiet location, clean and cozy room and nice staff.
View is excellent
I am 80 years old and my room was on the second floor, I found the eatra flight of stairs very arduous
The staff were excellent and very helpful and the food was good. The views from the hotel are wonderful.
A superb choice. Newly refurbished, everything has been thought through. We had a lovely room, a delightful dinner in the bar and am absolutely fabulous breakfast.
The weather - then we could have fully appreciated the perfect location on Loch Earn.
The location is superb, an excellent place to walk or cycle from. Rhoda and all the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms and the beds are comfortable. We had a lovely dinner, and live music after. The breakfast was good value for money and set us up for the day ahead.

Loved the location and the hotel has been refurbished. It looks lovely and they are obviously trying hard to bring it up to a better standard.
Cold water! The shower went cold on me two days in a row. Not pleasant. Heard other guests complaining about this too. There wasn’t a chance to speak to anyone to tell them about it when we left. Perhaps just a boiler problem at the time but needs to be addressed
Great location, lovely room, hotel has been recently done up and refurbished. Looks really nice.Very spacious room, well equipped. Fridge in room a nice touch, king size bed and whirlpool path nice touches in suite. Staff very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
Cooked breakfast option would be nice but continental breakfast was nice and good value. Would be useful to have a note of Wi-Fi password in room or on booking communications.
Everything! Recently refurbished and what a great makeover. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Lovely room and great food!
