    Pros +

    • Beautiful setting; welcoming and helpful staff; great food and drink
    • Everything, hotel, staff, food, surroundings, set in small village with nice friendly locals
    • Great location for Tobermory and Calgary beach, lots of character, very welcoming to dogs

    Cons -

    • A little bit dated and limited parking at times
    • Just some minor things for improvement: bottles with water on room, easier way for making coffee on room, toilet with two flush possibilities for saving water.
    • No issues with the hotel itself, but it would have been great for us as we didn’t have a car, to have been able to nail down the bus times to/ from Calgary Bay Tobermory (some details at the hotel perhaps?), as there are only a few a day and the information online was very confusing, we attempted once leaving a half hour window but no bus came, which left us a bit stuck.

We had a great stay. The food was fabulous, we had a great room which had a bath which was a bonus. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had a truly lovely stay at the Bellachroy Hotel, nestled in a quiet little village, in a less populated regions of the Isle of Mull. The location is fantastic for exploring the island’s wild beauty and hidden gems. The rooms were cozy, and spotlessly clean—perfect for relaxing after a day of adventure. The absolute highlight was the restaurant: a daily changing menu featuring freshly prepared dishes that were consistently delicious and beautifully presented. The staff were warm and welcoming, and evenings at the bar offered a relaxed, friendly atmosphere to wind down.Highly recommended for those seeking comfort, great food, and a tranquil retreat in one of Mull’s more untouched corners.

Ideal location for trips around the northern part of Isle of Mull (Tobermory and its distillery and colorful houses, Calgary beach with white sand, etc.). Historical building in small village surrounded by beatiful nature was renovated with sense for detail. I strongly recommend to have a dinner in restaurant where are served excellent meals made from local ingredients. Very nice and helpful staff is creating cosy atmosphere. Room was clean and comfortable. During rainy days you can stay in elegant lounge and read books about Isle of Mull or play parlour games. We spent two nights in this beautiful place and we will defintely come back for longer stay.

Staff. The welcome. The food. The restaurant and bar areas. There was a lounge area for us to use which was fantastic !

The room was a little small but it did have a large bathroom.

My husband and I stayed at the delightful Bellachroy Hotel for 3 nights over Easter weekend. It’s hard to believe Matt & Tom have only been in charge of this beautiful place for a few weeks; everything was welcoming, charming and as hosts they were extremely hospitable. The restaurant meals were delectable and beautifully presented, every detail wonderfully curated. The decor and general vibe of the hotel was lovely and despite being hardened campers we will definitely be back to stay when visiting Mull!

Loved our stay for four nights and enjoyed the breakfast selection and two evening meals. Staff were very friendly and attentive.Clean and comfy room.

Only thing we both noted was the mattress made a rumbly noise when we were settling down to sleep or getting up to use the toilet during the night.

Such a lovely friendly place to stay ,very comfortable Tom was very welcomingThe meals were delicious and the staff were lovely nothing was too much botherGreat for a doggie visit our Reggie loved his walks and chasing the local bunnies

The charge of £25 for our dog to stay was just too much

A lovely place to stay, well looked after, and good choices for breakfast.

Nothing major, would like to be able to bring dogs into the restaurant as the bar area was relatively small.
