Distance, outskirts of where I was attending my event

The rooms were spotless clean, beds were very comfortable , we replenished on much needed good sleep before a long flight .Our hosts were extremely helpful and friendly . They accommodated our very many requests the last minute ( I had booked a single room by mistake ; we could easily update the room for two friends to be able to stay together ) . We were well cared for and well fed , this felt more like staying with family . Shannon ( our host ) was able to get a last minute reservation in a popular local restaurant; food was delicious. She was also very very responsive to all questions , went far and beyond to help us . I have to say , this stay put a smile on our faces and made good Welsch memories for us

It is close to a busy road but the location is the closest and most convenient for the airport ( plus the airport is not busy at all after dark)

Hotel is part of a camping and caravan park area but that didn’t take away from a warm welcome feel you sometimes you don’t get at a larger hotel. It was clean and friendly, the rooms were spotless and a really good size. WiFi worked and good coverage, plenty of car park spaces. Staff were warm and friendly.

Room was beautiful. Although very large as I booked for single but room had 1 king bed and 2 singles

Absolutely fine large comfy bed, clean warm room & bathroom good shower,Breakfast was plentiful, brilliant poached eggs! Hosts were friendly.

Ease of location so close to airport lovely room on ground floor comfy bed . Hosts were very friendly would definitely go back to stay .

Nothing was a great stay

Cozy little spot by the airport. Innkeepers were delightful hosts, warm and accommodating, full of tips on local spots and lore.

We stayed here for the Billy Joel concert, we arrived and when checking in the lady said her family member had just left to take people to the train station but she offered to book us a taxi. Breakfast was lovely really homemade.

The staff went way over and beyond to take care of my elderly mother and her elderly friend. They had been stranded due to their flight being diverted as a result of a storm. My mother was exceptionally grateful for their hospitality and generosity, which included picking them up from the airport within 10 minutes of me booking the room! They also made them food at 10pm. Thank you so much.

We were taken in at short notice after being stranded in Cardiff Airport. Even though it was nearly 10.00pm we were given toasted ssndwiches and tea. The staff couldn't have been more helpful.

Decor would not be to my taste

Very clean and comfortable,the owners were so welcoming and very handy for the airport,excellent.

Fantastic customer service. The only thing I would suggest they could have improved on was if they had a better ironing board available (I was travelling for work and my shirts needed attention after unpacking ?). Room was spotless and the lady running front of house was exceptionally accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Ideally located for my purposes and despite being located next to two main roads amazingly got a comfortable, quiet nights sleep. Will definitely use again for future business trips.

Literally just a better ironing board ?‍♂️

Disappointing.

There is limited accommodation in and around Cardiff so I was not surprised to have to pay a premium price for two very average rooms on the Friday of the Billy Joel concert.There is, however, a minimum standard expected and it was more than disappointing to discover in the morning that the shower controls didn't work. The water flow kept cutting out and, when it was running, the water was far too hot to stand under and the temperature control made no difference. Unusable.

I liked Christine, on reception and on breakfast service, she was charming and very accommodating.

I would have liked a full English option at breakfast. The decor needs an update.

The lady that ran the hotel was very welcoming and accommodating. The room was very clean and had everything that you would need. We only stayed 1 night but would definitely go back.
