Pros +
- Great location, friendly welcome and breakfast was awesome. Never had the opportunity to use the restaurant, but looks great and definitely will on a future visit.
- Excellent food and wine. Gorgeous setting. Friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere
- What a fantastic gem of a place, in the middle of the countryside. i was staying due to a business trip but honestly felt like I was on a mini holiday! Rachel was a brilliant host and looked after me from start to finish. Both dinner and breakfast were marvellous, and my room was very comfortable for a restful night's sleep. If I lived closer, I would definitely stay/dine more often!
Cons -
- nothing!
- Needed more milk on Sunday morning for tea as went to wedding and was very hungover hahahaha
- Only thing can improve to make the rooms noise proof ( changing doors might be help). During the night we could here other guests shutting the doors and being noisy. Other then that we enjoyed our stay!

My wife and I had a good four nights at the Jabajak, where we dined in every evening. We were superbly looked after by Nicole, whose partner, Lewis, was the chef. He is the son of the owners, who were away. The room, Lilac, was comfortable, with a fridge for milk and water provided by the hotel. The rooms were not made up during our stay, which personally was not a problem. A good bar, stocked with their homegrown wine, local beers and a sensible wine list. Breakfast was anything from the à la carte menu and dinner was from four courses in each section. Both were excellent, with a couple of suggestions re the food. We were particularly lucky with fine sunny weather. The hotel is ideally situated for country walks, a visit to Laugharne Castle and Dylan Thomas’s writing house. Took a long walk on the Pendine Sands, the record-breaking motor racing world of Donald Campbell. The tide was out so it gave an even more impressive idea of the sands.
Location is excellent if you want to stay at a nice and cosy winyard, and only half an hour car distance from major cities or the seaside.like the decorations and the hospitality of the stuff.

Cooked breakfast was nice. Evening meal was nice but a little pricey for what we got.Outside surrounds would be lovely in good weather with plenty of seating etc. We were able to park the car near our room. The restaurant and bar area are all newly done, very clean and comfortable.A fridge in the hall was stocked with fresh milk and water which were clearly labelled for each room. The staff we met were friendly and helpful.
Coffee was in a large cafetiere which went cold quickly while being shared with other tables. Our room was booked as a King Deluxe but was a small room with a very poor layout. The clothes hanging rail was literally over the dressing table space. The room itself was badly in need of updating and freshening up.
Tea was not very warm
Uncomfortable bed, some dust on bedroom locker
Fantastic family run Business, food was fabulous, service fantastic, cannot rate highly enough! Steve the owner, and his family, were the best hosts. Truly brilliant!!!
We were very happy with the location and the property suited our requirements. The staff were excellent and attentive to our needs. The food was excellent and the breakfast was a great way to start the day. We also enjoyed the wine tasting. Many thanks to Steve, Katie, Louis & Nicole for making our visit a very special celebration.
The only thing was the lamb was a little too pink.
The location of amazing with wonderful views across the Welsh country side .The sharing platter at dinner time was delicious, showcasing wonderful local food .Thank you Steve and Jackie .
Lovely hotel from a warm welcome to lovely meal and excellent nights sleep with options of tea or coffee in our room and an excellent cooked breakfast
Picturesque and very nice restaurant
Room was smaller than expected.Thought the wine tasting was over priced.
Beautiful location, very relaxed
We told the staff in the morning that we were unable to shower as dirty water was coming up through the shower when we used the sink. They apologised but no gesture of goodwill. Not being able to freshen up before going for food isn’t what you’d expect when paying money to stay somewhere. Everything would have been a 10 if it wasn’t for this
The staff where super friendly and made us feel extremely welcome and the room was very clean & cosy. We loved the whole experience and would love to re-visit, especially the restaurant as the food was absolutely delicious. We are not wine people but after this experience we cannot wait to do more trips like this, Jabajak vineyard is a must visit.
Nothing. Everything was perfect.
expensive but good - my wife needed more choice on the dinner menu
More choice , maybe we were unlucky
Everyone was super welcoming and polite and helpful. The vineyard is in a lovely area very nice for lots of nice pictures. The rooms are very nice and clean well stocked with everything you could need . The bathroom was large with a nice size shower with good water pressure .The tv has plenty of things to watch which is nice and many hotels normally have only a few channels. The beds are very comfortable and was able to get a good nights sleep. We went to devils bridge on the Saturday it’s about 1.3 hours drive from the hotel lots of nice views waterfalls and a train
Where to start, the location, rolly hills, vineyard, outstanding views, awesome hosts, beautiful atmosphere plus ridiculously good food full of flavour and where possible from the garden. Thank you Jackie &Steve
Not nearer to home.
if its peace and quiet you're after they've got it by the bucket load. lovely outside seating area, cosy reception/bar and we took a lovely stroll through the vines in the sunshine
We had a wounderful stay at Jabajak Vineyard Restaurant & Rooms. During our full stay the service was permanantly outstaningly exquisite. Within our Wales stay we never eat better than at Jabajak Vineyard Restaurant & Rooms. The bar offeres a hugh variety of beers, wines etc. We can clearly recommend a stay there! K + K
