Great location and enjoyed the balcony. Arrives by bus and was a short walk downhill from the stop.

The warmest of welcomes The separate lounge area from the bedroom The little fridge with milk and water provided and plenty of tea/coffee and sugars. The breakfast was amazing .. hot and fresh, and none of this Luke warm stuff you get in most places when you eat out for breakfast The decking area, while shared, is fabulous with views of the sea, and if you're lucky, the dolphinsYou can sit in the room by the dining table and still have the sea views The location is in the town only a stones throw away from the beach,bars restaurants and shops there's also a car park just 100 yards away

Parking could be a challenge in the summer if it's busy, but there are a couple of other car parks dotted around at the top of the hill you could use until you're able to move the car down to the nearest one to the property

Nowt amazing place

Great location with sea views, a good level of service without being OTT and the rooms are in suites so there is plenty of space to spread out. Ideal location for walking around the village and along coastal paths - right on the sea front.

The breakfast was good, but could have been better. Sausages bland and no black pudding (!), but properly cooked and served in your living quarters, to eat while looking out to sea. A very minor grumble in the overall scheme of things!

Breakfast was really good , lots of choice and actually brought to your room around 9am each morning.The location is brilliant , right in front of the sea. Richard , our host was just so friendly and helpful as was his son Andy .Having the terrace just outside was wonderful .Best thing .......a boat trip on the Suncatcher with New Quay Boat Trips . We saw so many dolphins , it was amazing , they were so active .

Size and functioning of the shower room. However it is in and old and very quaint building so to be expected I guess . Absolutely fine for a few nights.

Everything you need for a few days or longer.Hosting very good.Breakfast was brought to your room with lots of choices.Bed was very comfortable with a lovely bathroom.View overlooking the bay watching dolphins,seals and birds.Balcony to use.Also good value for money in a prime location in New Quay

Doing a review as I dont want other people finding this gem of a place!

Lovely owners/staff, brilliant location on the beach, excellent views from the balcony of dolphins in the bay, very clean, big and comfortable room, excellent, generous breakfast, really good value all round.

Shower is an eco shower so not the hottest/most powerful but still perfectly adequate.

The suite was superb with leather settee and chair. Breakfast was brought to the room and was very substantial. The view from the outside sitting area was stunning.

Proximity to sea with shared balcony seating. Breakfast trolley delivered to room with cooked breakfast fifteen minutes later if requested. Large lounge area with comfortable sofa and chair. Minibar with fresh milk for tea and coffee throughout the day. Pleasant staff.

Lack of parking proved very difficult for us as we arrived on a warm day when all the nearby carparks were full. 24 hour parking is £6.60 in beach car park but parking opposite is only available till midnight. We finally parked up the hill in the Central car park and left the car there till our departure. Street parking is strictly limited to 30/60 minutes. Access via stone steps to first floor may be difficult for some.

Location was perfect, room was very spaciousness bed was very comfortable! A large selection for breakfast each morning - nice to sit out on the balcony in the evening!

Richard and Diane were perfect hosts. Room had amazing view, was very clean and had everything you needed and bed was so comfy. Breakfast was huge, tasty and loved being delivered to the room, though it’s 9 am so late for those setting out early. The balcony area for guests had comfy furniture, and amazing view to spot the dolphins and sea the sun rise.

Lovely location and a clean, comfortable hotel. The proprietor was pleasant and helpful and the trolley served breakfast was exceptional.

The family who run it were absolutely lovely. They were all very friendly and approachable. The breakfast is outstanding and the Location is stunning. The outdoor seating is fab and very comfortable overlooking the sea. We were lucky enough to see dolphins and a seal popping his head up.

Our one and only negative is that our room was at the rear and was described I believe as over looking a courtyard!! I don’t remember having a choice when we booked so it might have been the only option available. It was in fact a storage area which made the rooms extremely dark and personally I found it a little claustrophobic. The TV transmission is very unreliable as it’s a portable Ariel.

The view was amazing, breakfast included and brought to your room was great. Watched the dolphins whilst having breakfast
