Great service and the room was beautiful! We were there for just the day for an event, and the bar staff were incredibly accommodating with parking and late check-in

A really nice little place. Clean, plenty of space, well presented.Good breakfast and a big car park.

Not much provision for evening meal, it was Nacho night when I stayed. This is a shame, because the breakfast was awesome.I’d had a long day, and was a bit let down when I had to go wandering around town for a takeaway.

Decor, cosy bathroom, large room with timber frame ceiling, comfortable bed.

Some road noise. Fine for me, but light sleepers may want ear plugs.The shower control came off in my hand - but I got it back on again!!

Well positioned, comfortable and clean

Staff were friendly, room was gorgeous and a great size.

Silly little niggle but the tv was tiny and far from the bed. Not the biggest issue but we just wanted to relax in the room in the evening and it was too small and far to watch really.

A real joy to stay at The Little George. The room was full of character and very comfortable. My first visit to Eccleshall and The Little George is perfectly placed to explore the town. Didn't eat dinner there so can't comment on the food other than the cooked breakfast which set me up for the day.

A lovely pub downstairs, staff showed me to my room and offered to help with my luggage. My room was modern, very spacious and clean. A great location as I was going out in Eccleshall.

The accommodation and location

Breakfast was nice fresh produce but would have like a variation of eggs not just omelette. Quantity was there but plates too small.

Breakfast hours messed up due to fire training meant we missed breakfast

Very welcoming- I even joined in (unofficially) in the pub quiz downstairs. No noise problems in the room at all and a very spacious accommodation for a solo traveller.

In the morning I wasn't told about pizza evenings, when I directly asked if they served dinner.

Everything, clean comfy spacious rooms, excellent staff helpful, friendly. Felt very safe and well looked after . Great place .

Nothing to dislike it's perfect

The location, the pub itself, the staff and the breakfast all superb.

The room would have benefitted from a dust around.

The room was fantastic, a very good size and very clean. Facilities in the room were great. The staff were lovely and very attentive. The landlord of the hotel is very passionate about it and it shows in the quality of the rooms, facilities and the hotel overall.

Easy to reach wifi a parking.

Supernoisy room no insulation at all!The night I spent there there was no hot water I could not take a shower till the day after… not even a small discount for that!Breakfast terrible.Never again.

That we had to leave!

Lovely and clean decor was really nice coffee/tea really nice had to get own milk bed was really nice and comfortable loads of space

No where to put clothes really needed a small set of drawers and same with bathroom great walk in shower but need a shelf around sink or along the side to put your toilettes yes there was a cupboard under sink but when a short stay you need an area just to put makeup bits etc and lastly hanging hooks on wall you needed to be a six foot giant !

Great room, comfortable bed and good space.

Unfortunately no option to re arrange breakfast time or offer for alternative due to early leaving for an event.

The room looked good and was clean

The constant noise of fans , the extremely noisy fridge that I physically had to unplug from the wall to stop the incessant noise, complete lack of WIFI, No operational television. The cost was completely disproportionate to the room. When I left and discussed my concerns with the owner it was clear that he had heard all of it before and simply offered me a discount if I stayed again. I was also quite dismayed to discover a jar containing ear plugs was available in the room which in my opinion is simply bizarre. Having looked at previous reviews it appears that similar issues are common.

I loved the location. The room was clean and well equipped, it had a cosy feel to it. The temperature was just right. Although the room overlooked the main road, the noise from traffic was low level.

Everything! From the welcome and check in to the beautiful room and the super comfortable bed and pillows. Everywhere I looked I was delighted. They had thought of everything.

There’s nothing to dislike about this place. I’ve already recommended it to my friends and family.
