- Couldn’t fault it.
- Could do with a soap dish ( nowhere to put it) and didn't like the connecting room.

Beautiful room, well appointed, warm and very clean, with an amazing view over the loch. Plenty of tea and coffee etc and biscuits in the room. Breakfast was served in the dining room looking over the loch - lots of choices for every taste and appetite - the Scottish breakfast was lovely. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Couldn’t fault it.
Beautiful, modern, comfortable

Very clean the room was fabulous the food was excellent the view was amazing from the room the staff were lovely and friendly we would definitely go back again we had booked for one night and paid for an extra night was a lovely place we couldn’t say a bad word about the place was stunning
Nothing it was perfect
Nice restaurant. Lovely meal in the restaurant at night.Great location with very easy access. Very friendly helpful staff. Very dog friendly.
Room a little tired, but very comfortable. Couple of lights not working, need new bulbs. Patio very, very slippy, needs non slip covering before someone hurts themselve.
Very quiet, beautiful views, full of bird life, loch views with a beautiful sunset, food was great and staff were very helpful Bluetooth mirror was a bonus too!
Lots of dog hair blew out from underneath the bed, could do with a clean
Clean, comfy and quiet. Good sized room with a great view of the loch. Food was perfect, both evening meal and breakfast.
Lovely location. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was excellent
The balcony overlooking the loch was lovely but we did not realise when we booked how close the premises were to the A75 so there was quite a bit of traffic noise. The food was really good at breakfast and there was a great varied menu/specials board in the evening.
Whilst the staff were lovely they did seem a bit disorganised at times and whilst we always seemed to get served at the bar ok I did notice that at times people were left waiting around. There is a lovely big log burner in the premises which was lit the first two nights we were there but on the third night which incidentally was the coldest it was not lit.
Beautiful Inn, fantastic rooms with view on the loch, friendly staff. Restaurant has a lot of vegan options.
Nothing! I woke up with a beautiful sunrise.
Everything. Clean, spacious, very good rooms that you would pay much more for in a city. All mod cons
Clean cosy staff lovely room lovely
Nice room overlooking the Loch, friendly staff
Great bed, very big and comfy
After a very long journey we had a lovely warm welcome from Steve , staff and other guests , food was lovely and great value rooms very clean and modern , will definitely be back next year , highly recommend thus Hotel .
I had the pleasure of staying at this beautiful lakeside hotel, and I couldn't be more impressed. The stunning views of the lake are absolutely breathtaking, providing a serene backdrop for relaxation. The modern rooms are impeccably clean and well-equipped with all the comforts you could ask for, making it a perfect retreat. What truly set this hotel apart, however, was the exceptional hospitality from the owner. He was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was memorable. He took the time to show us around the entire property and shared his extensive knowledge about the area, which made our experience even more enriching. This hotel is truly a spectacular place to unwind and enjoy the picturesque landscape. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil escape!
Food was good we was out before breakfast and the lovely lady done us a packed lunch much appreciated
Everything! Beautiful location clearly recently renovated and a good job done. Lovely comfortable room
The breakfast and evening meal were good, the room itself was small for the price ( £100 per night) but oK as breakfast was included , the shower and washing facilities were good. The bed was awful, I had springs sticking in my back all night it was very uncomfortable so between that and the noise from the HGVs on the road I hardly slept , never again , sorry, I'll book a Premier Inn in Dumfries next time.
