- The food was amazing.Staff were efficient, friendly and helpful. The comfort and atmosphere were excellent.
- A charming place that blends timeless elegance with warm hospitality. From the cozy rooms to the excellent food and peaceful surroundings, it’s a perfect escape for rest (also with its spa area). A truly memorable stay!
- Gorgeous hotel. I would not take off a star for this, but it is NOT an asthma-friendly facility. There are fragrance diffusers everywhere. Totally unnecessary and yes, I had requested no fragranced cleaning chemicals when I booked. The first room we were shown was beautiful, but there was an awful fragrance/fragranced cleaning chemicals buried in the carpet. Staff were fantastic and found us another room while we had dinner - gave us the handicap room which had hardwood floors instead of carpet, thus eliminating the problem. The pub had the best fish and chips from my entire vacation in Ireland. Loved the care taken with the restoration of these buildings. Due to a slightly late arrival (traffic), did not get to use the spa/pool. Car park onsite is good, but best accessed with a small vehicle. Breakfast was lovely - porridge with a buffet of other items.
Cons -
- Nothing to dislike.
- Fragrance diffusers everywhere.
- The shower had great power and heat but having a shower curtain cling to me was very claustrophobic and uncomfortable.

Breakfast was lovely though the continental part had a lot of strange options which I did not care to eat.
The shower had great power and heat but having a shower curtain cling to me was very claustrophobic and uncomfortable.
All the staff were really friendly and down to earth from the receptionist on arrival, to the waiters, to the porter and barmen. All exceptional. The location in the forest. Ease of parking. The room was unique. The hotel has a charm too it. Good atmosphere around the place and the live music was good. The restaurant food was really nice and the breakfast had a great selection. The Shakshouka was tasty.
The spa area was maybe not as big as I thought it might be. One small jacuzzi that was hard to get in as it was full most of the time. Could do with another Jacuzzi or two. . The conservatory room wasn't warm. The room we got was above bar and by the wooden steps. Could hear everything in the bar until your early hours. And then in the morning woken up early with the bangs on the steps. Pricey for drinks and food. But this was expected.
Spa not too busy, easy to access most things without having to wait too long. Food was delicious and live music was great in the bar.
Drinks prices expensive, dinner and breakfast menu limited. Service in the bar a little slow. Our Rowallen room was right beside cleaning storage with a water wank situated right behind our headboard which made loud bubbling noises all night long and completely disrupted our sleep, along with being above the door accessing the spa which loudly banged shut each time someone used it. Put a bit of a downer on an otherwise lovely stay.
The staff/customer service was excellent, very friendly and helpful. The spa is small but very relaxing and clean. Bar was nice, live music was a plus. Cosy reception area with fire and comfy chairs.
The rooms need a bit of TLC. They are clean and have great amenities but a little rough around the edges. Water stains and holes in the walls etc. but then again it's an Old Inn. Food options for vegans (Dinner) is basic and very overpriced.
Spa facilities were lovely and very relaxing. Restaurant and bar food excellent. Service also excellent and very attentive.
Bedroom far too warm
The spa staff facilities the aroma off the place just feels special and amazing Bed was out off this worldso comfy, We will definitely be back
Theres nothing i would not like about the old inn crawfordsburn
Loved absolutely everything about this place, honestly cannot fault it at all.... We had the most relaxing time away, The spa is just incredible. We loved it that much we have booked it for a wedding venue
Lovely welcoming environment. Staff went above and beyond.Spa was smaller than expected, but the upside was that it was very quiet and relaxed. We really appreciated the extra time in the spa before our room was ready. The room was beautiful, and I loved the touch of the GHD hairdryer. Our bed was quite high and small.
Lovely hotel, great room, spa area was delightful and tasty breakfast. Only negative was the price of food and drinks in the bar/restaurant.
Very good experience, staff is very friendly.Thank you for Stuart,he is definitely in write place ?.Me and my husband the best 32 years wedding anniversary ❤️.Definitely us be back again ?????
Staff were lovely, the place was lovely
No hot water for a bath or shower in the evening, water was freezing
Spa area beautiful, very relaxing and lovely surroundings.food was delicious both breakfast and dinner. Great location for beach and walk.
Drinks a bit pricey
Everything was excellent. We ate both nights in the restaurant and the choice of having a la carte and a bar menu mix and match was brilliant and suits all tastes.
The lack of air conditioning could be a problem in warmer weather.
I loved the room ,the soa was outstanding I loved the use of QR code at the spa to order our drinks ,The staff were so friendly and very helpful ?
I thought the menu was very limited and thought after spending £300 for the night the cooked breakfast was limited but very nice was only offered one cup of coffee
Spa area was fantastic - one of the best spas I have been in. Massage was great (my masseuse was Lynn). The food and drinks were all great. Great range on the menu and I loved the bar area after dinner with live music. The room was absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable.
The service was a bit slow at dinner although the staff were nice. Breakfast was a bit disappointing I found ... I ordered the scrambled eggs and thought there weren't many eggs.
Spa facilities were class and breakfast unreal
Finding lady's dirty underwear in are room
The spa was great, entertainment on Sunday evening was very good , evening meal in bar was delicious. breakfast buffet had nice selection . bed very comfortable, staff excellent and friendly. beautifully decorated for Christmas ?
Bedroom wasn't fresh smelling changed room , fridge very noisy in room and walls very thin could hear neighbours Aircon , pillows very hard, cute wardrobe with window behind would benefit from curtains as sun comes into room very early, poor lighting in room ,workmen hammering and drilling from 8am ,Cooked breakfast, tea and coffee quality not to our liking
