Cons -
- Only thing was the room was a bit cold. To be fair the weather outside was awful but our loft room had single glazing which didn't help with heat retention.
- cant think of any negatives
- No complaints besides maybe the wedding being so great i didn't get much sleep

Lovely property. The staff were especially good. Very friendly, chatty and very helpful. Few places have such a lovely culture.
Very nice breakfast, friendly staff including reception desk. Comfortable bed and room size.
Could hear noise from hallway and adjacent rooms. Located a distance from the town, although that wasn't an issue for us while attending a wedding.
Staff are what make this hotel. The lady in reception was lovely and the bar staff and room service staff were so lovely and accomodating. Nothing was too much trouble for them. I wanted to bring them all home with me. Food was amazing breakfast was really lovely.
260 pounds per night in a room that was meant to be superior. No bathsheets, no pillow choice, the bed was torn, no aircon, light bulbs 4 not working. No fridge /mini bar, no robes, no extractor fan in windowless bathroom. I didnt find the room value for money whatsoever. Ive had bigger premier inn rooms.
The setting is stunning. All the staff were courteous and helpful. The food was delicious and hot. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. There were plenty of warm towels on the radiator. Also our room was well soundproofed especially as we were situated by the main doors to the Reception and stairs/lift area and we didn't hear anything outside our room all night. I loved the choice of coffee pods machine or kettle to make tea in the room.
There was no shower seat in the accessible rooms bathroom and the toilet seat was flimsy and moved about a lot which is not safe. The emergency doors used to get out into the patio area in the wedding venue are not easy to manoeuvre through when using a walker or wheelchair.
Fantastic staff at the restaurant. Tasty food and pleasant decor.
1. Drunk wedding party guests fighting at 3 am, knocking on my door and no apology from the hotel. When I raised that topic to the reception I was told that "such things might happen at the weddings".2. No facilities for children 3. If you stay at this place outside of a wedding party there is not much you can do.
Visit to attend a wedding at the hotel. Every detail for the wedding was delivered with fine detail in. The accommodation was comfortable and clean.
The location was ideal for us to attend a wedding but otherwise you would need a car to get around as there was nothing within walking distance.
Lovely location, good restaurant. Lovely grounds, very clean and modern
Location , Staff , food
Beautiful grounds, in a relaxing location. We attended a wedding reception and stayed the night. The quality of food was excellent, breakfast very good quality and excellent service.
Immaculate gardens and wedding venue.
Electric chargers not good. Internal electrics not working
Breakfast was of a high quality with excellent choices and service
Need a top sheet in the bed. Room was a little warm at night.
Loved the place the area and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
We started with one bulb out on the dressing table. Reported it and assured it would be fixed the next day. In the morning the bedside lamp failed to work. Reported it also .third day standard lamp failed to work. Reported it. Fouth day we left. Still don't know if they fixed the 3 lamps.
Room was modern and clean, food and drinks in the restaurant were excellent and the staff were very nice. Really nice tranquil place for a break and we were at a wedding and the wedding was excellent.
Could do with a wee pool/spa/gym as not much else to do.
The food was lovely. Most of the staff were very friendly & helpful
My window did not open- room got very warm. My fan did not work- ruined sleep due to heat & no working window. WKD tasted off / out of date The shower soaked the bathroom floor & not enough towels to dry this or myself.
It’s the people. The staff are so friendly and efficient. I don’t know how the management/owners manage to instil such a spirit of helpfulness and camaraderie in their staff. Fun, jokes, humour.
We didn’t “not like” anything. The 8/10 is because there’s no pool or spa etc, and to get a 10/10 we suppose that high ‘facilities’ bar would have to be met. So for what the place is, and 8/10 is a 10/10!
