The Pennyfarthing is an independent hotel in the center of Berkhamsted, just 6 minutes’ walk from Berkhamsted Railway Station. Free Wi-Fi and limited private parking available (additional fees applicable). Located in a Grade 2 listed building, the 19 rooms with attached bathroom have air conditioning, flat-screen TVs and tea/coffee making facilities. Berkhamsted is a small country town about 30 minutes’ drive from Luton Airport.

- Location is great and staff were super friendly.

- The shower and bathroom had A LOT of black mould which wiped away super easy, implying that it just hasn't even been wiped down in a long time. The bed is obviously very old and super bowed in the middle, making it quite uncomfy to sleep on.
- Very dark room in dark walkway.
