Set in an impressive Victorian building, Christchurch Hotel is just 20 minutes from Bournemouth center. - Great location, great rooms, lovely meals
- Our first stay - and it was fabulous, what a lovely location!! Thank you for the upgrade - room with a little outside verandah ( how did you know how much that makes a difference to us, you must have a crystal ball!!) Was so much appreciated!! Moat staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Lovely outside areas, with beautiful views, very tranquil, an amazing jewel of a place -will definitely be back.
Cons -
- Mmmmthe cooked breakfast was a bit underwhelming; the sausage was somewhat bland and the bacon was rather overdone, but maybe thats just me.
- Upon our arrival receptionist was not as helpful as expected- I had to inform her that we've never stayed here before so did not know which way was what - eg breakfast room, outside areas, spa and pool. But rest of the time the staff were all amazing.
