- It was all perfect, lovely location, very clean cottage. Everything you needed was there. The cottage was a lot bigger than I expected, plenty of room for all 6 of us. Loved all the extra stuff like games for the kids, books, DVDs and CDs. Everything has been though about. Was great to see all the sheep and lambs, horses and Farmer David to show my boys around the farm and see all the tractors. Was extra nice the easter egg hunt bucket left for my boys. Thank you so much for a brilliant stay.
- Peaceful location, good facilities within the cottage and excellent responsiveness from the host.
- Brooksides Byre is a very comfortable converted cow shed. Set in open countryside north of Brancepeth Castle the Byre is warm with spacious rooms. Having two shower and WC rooms - the larger one also with a bath - is convenient. The kitchen is well equipped. The rooms have TVs with a selection of DVDs available. The information about the facilities and attractions of the area is really good.
Cons -
- Beds on the harder side but that's personal preference.
- WiFi can require resetting a lot during bad weather.
