- The food was excellent. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.
- The room was lovely, as were the staff. Very clean and modern, with a comfortable bed as well.
Cons -
- The Huntsman needs to look at the food it offers. The breakfast was limited (no fruit, yoghurts etc...), so if you're not keen on cereals you're stuck. Cooked breakfast OK, last morning bacon was overcooked. The main problem was dinner. Not up to standard. My husband's steak was overcooked and oversalted, and the haddock and chips thin and overcooked. 18.50? We should have gone to the local fish and chip shop. The best thing was the olives, which were nothing to do with the chef. We were very disappointed. Poor value for money. We suggest clients do B & B only, and eat out elsewhere in the evening.
