Offering elegant and modern accommodations on the beautiful Isle of Lewis, Borve House Hotel features luxurious rooms and offers good food. On the West coast of the Isle of Lewis, the house provides free WiFi access throughout the hotel. Spacious and classically furnished, the rooms enjoy luxury duvets and cotton sheets, along with an private bathroom with a power shower and natural toiletries. A flat-screen TV and tea/coffee facilities are featured in each room. The on-site restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The food is prepared with seasonal and local products. The bar offers a range of Scottish malt whiskeys and an extensive wine list. Free parking is available, and Stornoway, with its ferry port, airport and golf club, is 20 minutes away by car.

- Restaurant staff very attentive and food beautifully presented and excellent.
- Peaceful location, spacious and very comfortable room with lovely view.
Cons -
- Constant very loud door banging, it appears my room was next to a store cupboard. Poor quality room insulation. Could hear staff laughing or chatting at reception. Could hear the kitchen bell chime when food was ready. Dark room. I eventually found the room folder of information under the TV shelf, after I had returned to reception to find out WiFi code, location of restaurant, breakfast times etc. Hairdryer was also in TV cabinet ? !, despite there being a wardrobe and dressing table !! Plastic glasses and high sided bath for shower, with no grab rail.
