Hotel Zámek Svijany

Standard 3-star hotel breakfast, but we really appreciated the extended breakfast time (till 9:30 weekdays/10:00 AM on weekends). Great hotel lounge room - kids really liked it. Adults as well, as there was a fridge with great Svijany beers (including 0%) and lemonades. Perfect location for a quiet weekend with family or friends. The only attractions accessible without a car are Svijany brewery (best lager beer in Czech, IMO), a beer restaurant and a beer shop. Beer shop is worth mentioning separately, as it sells not just the beers from the brewery at bargain prices, but also all kinds of useful merch - including all kinds of Svijany-branded sports and casual under/outer wear of a decent quality.

They could provide a bit more variety at the breakfast. Payment terminal for the beer fridge at the hotel lounge would be appreciated, as it's hard to get cash in the vicinity.

Incredibly beautiful hotel with remarkable exhibits and archeological findings of the building and the region during the middle ages. Our room was delightful for our one night stay overlooking the Svijany area and the rock formations beyond. Very peaceful and calm, with convenient access to the restaurant and beer shop right across the road and the Svijany brewery for a educational tour. I highly recommend booking yourself in for the beer spa.

The breakfast was a little uninspiring but did the job in keeping us feed and caffeinated. There isn't much else to not like other than it is a little isolated. But not a big issue

This is a special place, a hotel in an old castle building.The apartments are spacious.The breakfast is very good.The beer SPA is worth to try.The brewery restaurant has great food and good prices.

Very clean and spacious room. Stunning view from window. Comfortable bed. Superb bathroom. Good breakfast. Nice castle garden. The restaurant across the road is excellent. Svijany beer is one of the best Chezh beers. Absolutely recommended.

The hotel is located in an unique building with gardens all around.The room was huge, tidy and clean. Staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was fine too. There is a good restaurant just across the street which we liked . We had no parking problems there.Hope to be back soon.

The place is magical, the old casle building became a fine hotel. The room very large (we had a family unit 301), good beds, nice furniture and style. Really quyet. The small garden outside the wall is beautiful, outstanding views, we also enjoyed the ping-pong table there, and reseved the beer-spa (highly recommended!). Very good restaurant across the street, with great beer and food. The reception staff is helpful, smiling, allowed us extra time at check-out that was needed. And special thanks to Mirka, the hostess at the breakfast buffet, who let us feel like at home.

Small things that felt missing: no mirror in the bedroom in family suite, no waste bins, and there is no stand-in shower in room 301, lucky we are not taller.

Although not in Turnov, it is only 10 minutes drive away. Not far and very convenient to get to places (Bohemian Paradise). The room is very new and comfortable. And plus there is a restaurant just across the street. Which seems to be the only restaurant in that little town.

Breakfast was just not on par with the hotel. For such a great accommodation, breakfast could be a little bit better.

Room was clean, staff friendly, breakfast great.Beer bath was an excellent experience (at extra cost, of course).

The only thing was that I can remember is the parking. As the parking lot is available for everyone, it can get full easily and you as a hotel guest don't have a place to park.

Good selection of local cold cuts and cheese in addition to warm meals - scrambled and fried eggs and sausages.Sweets and cereals available as well.

very nice and clean , great staff and service, very good offer in (close to brewery) restaurant with delicious local meals&meals. I can only recommend this place. Spacious family apartment ...good breakfast , nice exhibition in 2nd floor.

A stunning hotel, our studio room contained two rooms and was perfect. The breakfast was varied and delicious, and the dinner served at the restaurant across the road is delicious and affordable.

Beautifully restored chateau, nice garden, spacious apartment. Fine restaurant across the street. (Chateau and restaurant are run by the local brewery). Arcana chateau game was unfortunately only available in Czech. Room could have been a little cleaner (corners with some dust) and the beds did not quite meet our comfort. Otherwise a great stay with excellent value for money.

Beautiful old historic building. rooms are clean and nice but somewhat basic. the view from the room was amazing.There was a shared kitchen and dining room if you need it :)

Breakfast is very basic and there is no safe in the room.
