The room was very spacious, clean, and with an outstanding view. Buffet evening meal was excellent both nights. Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice.Unfortunately, we did not use the pool this time, but we will definitely be back. Highly recommend this hotel in a beautiful area.

Wifi connection was terrible! They definitely need to install boosters range extenders. On second floor, the signal is almost dead! Such a big hotel will definitely need a good coffee machine. For the breakfast, there is only typical tasteless German filter coffee in pots. You cannot have a cappuccino or other coffee sort with milk. Compared to other hotels, I expected more variation for the breakfast.

Hotel is located in wonderful place in the middle of hills, valleys and forest. It is very close to Philipsthal by road. Large parking. Well equipped accommodation and wellness facilities, large restaurant, very good buffet breakfast. Rooms are large with nice view and a balcony. Good noise isolation in the rooms. Personnel is friendly and helpful. Good value for money paid. Hotel offers optional lunches and dinners.

WiFi connection did not work in the evening, but restored in the morning, however, with quite low speed connection. Night time it is difficult to find an entry way to the hotel parking.

What took my breath away was the honesty or dutifullnes in every detail, combined together with the solid design of good old 80's. Although plain, reserved, but totally functional and practical, offering only the best of comfort. After a really long time I've found a hotel bathroom with a real shower, not crippled by those stupid "eco" "savers", which makes one's hygiene a nightmare. A real, solid stream of hot (not shy warm, but I mean seriously hot) water, which provides exactly the degree of relax after a hard day one is looking for. Bathrobes. Nettings in a balcony door against insects. Generous working desk. Stable internet connection. Double door for even better noise insulation. A shelf full of spare towels. Dressing room. I could continue forever. And the breakfast? (btw. available from 6:30!) You need to try for yourself. If I am right, there is even no option to get a room without breakfast included (at least it wasn't available to me), which also poses a certain attitude: "No, you are too precious to us, we don't allow you to leave without a proper meal!" Simply said: You are doing it just right. Please, don't change anything, let you prosper and shine in this modern world full of falsehood and cheap glit. I am sure you will always find customers, who prefer the real quality.

Unfortunately only one night to be spent here, I had to continue with my business trip to Hannover.

Breakfast was good, The buffet dinner was good and the drinks were well priced.

No air conditioning in the room. The hotel was a little out of the way for our meeting, about 20 minutes by car.

Well, first of all, this is a place to relax, you have a nice climatized pool (water at 25 degrees C) and amazing hiking trails to walk around the mountain.There is an spectacular lake in the middle to even make it better.

Food restaurant was okeish, and the price is completely astronomical. Almost 60 € for 2 ppl a very normal buffet + water or coke.You need to take the car and try to find restaurants nearby.

Amazing bed!!! Super area and perfect sauna after a full day motorcycle riding.

Long live the old school ‘70 interior

great walking and biking trails. They have some simple bikes to check out

their bike trail suggestions were generic for the area, it would be great to customize it to the hotel's location.
