Location and breakfast

First bedsheet was very dirty with yellow handprints Had to go to reception for new one and that one was fine.

Extensive breakfast buffet

My own unfortunate choice: room with a one-person-bed: the bed is located in a corner (wall on one side, small bedside table on the other side) -> can’t move bed away from the wall -> woke up several times because of hitting my elbow against the wall.The pillow is plush and large, nice, however, in combination with a standard short bed, it’s taking away valuable space one the other end of the bed as the pillow occupies quite some space above your head. In combination with a typical German short duvet (not long enough to put it under the mattress at your feet -> feet dangling out of the bed (due to the combination of large pillow and short bed) and cold (due to the combination of large pillow and short duvet)

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and the food was very good Lovely setting and quiet, breakfast was excellent with a choice of hot and cold options .6 of us on a motorbike tour to Norway stayed on the way back to relax simply because we stayed there on the way to Norway and loved the place, especially the waitress who surved us in the restaurant on both occasions very helpful with advice on food and wine Safe parking for motorcycles at the hotel.

Staff are excellent went out of their way to help very clean and great food looking forward to staying there again on our return trip from Norway

Great stay at a great hotel

Great location as not far from the main road, but very quiet. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Breakfast, parking dinner

There were no bath towels in the room, only hand towels. We asked the reception and we were told they are standard towels. At the check out I asked again and was told there should have been 2 hand towels and two bath towels. There were no bath towels. There were too many stairs to get to the room. We asked for other room with less stairs but there were no rooms available

The location of the hotel is very nice. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast had a lot of options.

great location for travelling through Germany from the UK on our way to Denmark. Very quiet, excellent food in the restaurant (good vegetarian choices) and really good breakfast. Traditional German style hotel. Super helpful and friendly staff. Comfortable beds.

Decor is a little dated, but this didn’t affect the comfort or quality of our stay.

Really nice hotel, just outside Hamburg. It was the perfect stopover hotel travelling north. In nice countryside where we could stretch the legs after long hours of driving. Nice room & nice people. Very quiet, so we slept well. The restaurant has a traditional german menu and a lot of people from the neighbourhood eat there as well. Breakfast was great and they had a service to buy bread rolls, which is very handy when you have to travel further. We will come back next time we travel north.

It gave a lovely sense of German hospitality, and was very comfortable and clean. The location was so close to the motorway and yet very quiet and relaxing.

Norhing

Breakfast was excellent, the restaurant offered original German dishes. All in all a lot of value for my money, will definitely come back when I need a hotel in the area.

I was a little disappointed that the “Biergarten” was closed.

Easy location from highway after long journey. Really spotlessly clean and well appointed modern room. Ate in restaurant and food was really lovely and generous hearty portions. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Nothing bad to say, only that I arrived after 2 hr delay on highway closure, so didn't have as long there as I would have liked.

Staff were so friendly and helpful especially Anna.
