Improvement needed!

There are a few reasons for this negative rating:1. When I arrived to the hotel, I was asked to show the vaccination pass as well as a negative test. The vaccination I have shown the staff, but since on the booking information from the hotel it said that I need to show vaccination OR test, I did not have a test with me. I informed the staff at the hotel that I have done a PCR-test in the morning (as I do those on a regular basis), but I will get the results first in the evening. The staff was very unfriendly about it and told me it is the policy of the hotel (even though no regulations in the upper Austria ask for an additional test) to not allow me to enter the hotel without a test. I was asked to drive to a town 20 km away to undertake a new test, otherwise they would not let me even wait in the hotel for the result of my morning PCR-test. I was forced to change my plan (I needed to work) and drive 40km back and forth. I also wonder, what would have happened to me or other guests, if the testing street (which closes at 17:00) would have already been closed and I did not have made previously the PCR-test.2. The staff talks to you in a very informal way, which was not previously explained to me that it also belongs to the hotel policies. When it was at a later point explained to me, I was not asked whether I was ok with this.3. I talked about my situation with the management of the hotel which seemed absolutely unmoved by my situation. Apparently there are enough naive customers to cover the costs of a few lost ones.4. Overall I believe the managers should invest into an education course on the topic of customer approach and satisfaction. This would be helpful for some hotel staff as well. Considering that one needs to say three times “good morning” to the waiters before one gets acknowledged.5. The standard double-room itself is absolutely unsuitable for working or even trying to read a book.
