    Pros +

    • Easy to find, free parking, friendly staff. They also had breakfast and dinner available.
    • Big rooms, Free parking. Clean, Fresh towels,
    • It was basic and very quiet , but served our needs for the one night to visit a local historic site. Very simple basic breakfast . Room was large and functional .

    Cons -

    • Restaurant was fully booked, and directions and availability to other eat-out options were very sketchy,
    • It was good value for a one night stay . Wouldn’t choose it for longer stays
    • Could have been a little closer to the town, as there were no real footpaths to walk on. But that isn't the hotels fault. Also the wifi did not appear to be working. When I tried to look for a network, two printers appeared but nothing else, so I didn't bother.

Massive room, lots of space, perfect location, staff were really helpful. Locke parking over night.

    8KarlPosted on: 9-9-2024

Secure parking for motorcycles. We were visiting Oradour-Sur-Glane, which was only a 10min ride away. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Good sized room for 4 sharing clean and tidy.

    Location. Carpark excellent. Breakfast excellent.

    Restaurant not open.

    7FergusPosted on: 6-12-2024

It was obvious that the staff worked very hard to maintain the standards in the hotel itself but more needs to be done with the entrance and car-park of the hotel as it takes from what could be a fine establishment.

Room was large. Shower was reasonable

Restaurant closed on Saturday and although it is allegedly a ten minute walk to shops and restaurants, it is in reality 2km along a busy road with no pavement. The bed was uncomfortable and the bedding a thin sheet with an old, grubby looking blanket instead of a duvet.

    8PaulaPosted on: 4-9-2024

This is a simple hotel, but it was comfortable and very clean. It included a nice breakfast in he morning. The staff was very nice and helpful when we had any questions.

    6JanePosted on: 2-25-2024

Easy access from highway, very clean.

Felt like a slightly upgraded motel.

    10JamesPosted on: 9-30-2023

Was clean and welcoming staff. A good stopover for visiting Oradour sur Glane. No evening meal at this time but was directed to a wonderful Italian restaurant.

    Nothing to report.

    7MatthewPosted on: 9-24-2023

Clean with friendly staff. Good size rooms and secure parking.

The bed was a bit firm for my liking. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed so it was a mile walk to find a somewhere to eat.

Staff were great. In fact we only saw one staff member and he was friendly and chatty. It helped that my mate speaks reasonable French.

Bit far out from the town. But not a huge issue

    7AnthonyPosted on: 9-6-2023

Friendly staff, very clean excellent value for money.

    5LadaPosted on: 8-21-2023

    Room was clean and comfortable.

Although advertised as a hotel with a restaurant, on arrival we were told that the restaurant was closed due to staff holiday. We had driven for 6 hours that day and had another long journey ahead of us the following day. All we wanted was a drink and a dinner, before retiring to the room for the night. It wasn’t possible to book a taxi, so had to drive to the nearby town to try our luck in finding a restaurant, which proved not to be as easy as one would hope as many were either closed (on a Saturday night) or fully booked.

Host was really nice...let us park our motorcycles under the canopy because of the weather...

Restaurant was closed when we stayed...a fair distance to walk into town if you want a drink with dinner

The room was large and comfortable and the bathroom was equally spacious. The area is extremely quiet at night and the free on site parking is locked up at night (guests can open the gate after hours). It was a welcome reprieve after two weeks of staying in cramped little Chambre d'hotes and auberges. It's great value for money and worth the short drive to get there. There isn't a lift, but the staircase is wide and easily manageable even with a large suitcase.

A kettle in the room would have been nice and the shower could have been a bit hotter.

    9CharlesPosted on: 6-9-2023

A very good hotel not near the center of St. Junien.

Location could have been better, but is was very convenient for those headed towards Poitiers or Limoges.

Quiet area, with excellent choice of breakfast
