The staff were friendly, FUN and accommodating with early check-in, carrying my luggage to room and allocating a bath BUT sadly …

Four days on, I am still battling with food poisoning from the “La Soupe de Poisson” With a dairy allergy, I requested no cream or Emmental. Two hours after eating, I was in agony in my room. I spent the next day in bed in Limoges. Perhaps fish was off?

Modern clean friendly and central

Nice hotel with pool and wonderful restaurant. Comfortable, clean but most importantly very helpful and accommodating staff. Located at the edge of old St. Junien and the Collégiale but next to main roads.

As a train traveller, it was a bit of a hike through town but that is not the hotel’s fault (-:

The dog friendly room was compact but had everything you need. The on-site restaurant was superb very tasty and reasonably priced

It was right in the centre, however the rooms were sound proofed so no outside noise - this is more a preference to be in a quieter location not a criticism

We ate in the hotel restaurant. Good choices.Food was good and reasonably priced.

The town of St Junien is attractive, and the hotel is in the centre. Our room was at the back of the hotel, and very quiet and well equipped. The receptionist was ‘a pocket rocket’. She was very hands on in the restaurant too, at dinner - the hotel is fortunate to have such an employee! Dinner was great, and value for money (€24 for 3 courses was our choice). Unfortunately we didn’t have time to take advantage of the pool, despite the heat!

Access to the parking area was ‘tight’, and you need to exit it with due care. The AirCon was not working in the bedroom.

Room was quite small

Town centre location - buzzing during the football Euros with a big screen in the sqare across from the hotel, so a fun atmosphere. Easy to get to Oradour sur Glâne, the martyred village. Good restaurant. Good wifi. Free parking available and free parking opposite the hotel. Quirky decor!

Air con didn't work.

The standard rooms were too small. In the block where we stayed the walls were painted a sand colour which made the rooms look gloomy

Very good, honest, decent value hotel. The staff are excellent, the location is superb. The breakfast is good value for money although a little more choice could be offered such as cheese etc. The bed was superbly comfortable.

It would have been nice to have had a table and chairs to sit outside in front of the (currently closed) restaurant. Toilet room size was small.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and tidy rooms. Swimming pool a bonus and nice and clean. Great location for local bars and restaurants. Highly recommend.

Disappointing that the restaurant has closed - we had eaten there in the past and food good - part of reason we booked. This was not mentioned on website

The room was very nice with a great bathroom. The air conditioning was fantastic and we slept well. Pool and area was OK. In a lovely area.

Unfortunately the hairdryer did not work but luckily I brought my own. The pool area was basic and could have been made more of. The place smelled like there had been a fire, which I think there had. I think I should have been informed about this and offered some money back.

It was very clean. It looked brand new. Only a couple of things. The bathroom would benefit from an XPel air ( fan ) Also a couple of small cartons milk for drinks at n the room. Great birthday bonus that there’s a kettle and coffee/tea. Also a toaster for breakfast would be good. The room was very quiet too. Lovely Swimming pool was lovely after a days travelling.

The location suited us.

It advertises that English is spoken - it wasn't. It was OK but they can't say they do if they don't. Others might have found it a problem. The restaurant was permanently closed - that wasn' apparant in the ad. The reviews mentioned how good the food was so it was part of our reason for booking.

Location was good - near the airport after dropping off family who had been to stay. Nice to swim in the pool after a hot day travelling.

The meal in the restaurant lasted 3 hours. Not enough staff in kitchen or waiting on tables. Forgot the nibbles which should have accompanied our apero. Ordered the 35€ menu as I wanted the trout. When it arrived it was a an fried fillet with a spoonful of tagliatelle & half a tomato. No explanation beforehand or afterwards - I would have changed my choice. A grudging apology that they were struggling to cope in the kitchen. The following morning I insisted on a refund for the dish - which they reluctantly gave me.

Self service breakfast. Excellent pastries, great variety of other cold plates, not top presentation.
