Pros +
- Tiry, comfortable rooms, nice staff
- Good location as we were travelling through the region it was easy to find. The adjacent restaurant was excellent, although no gluten free extras, always disappointing when you watch your partner eating the hors d'œuvres and bread and you can't join in. The room was quiet at the top of the hotel, and there is a lift.
- Hotel was clean and nice. Host was very friendly and accomodating. Private parking as well
Cons -
- A bit noisy due to a nearby busy road, breakfast rather small
- Having a toilet and sink on separate sides of the bedroom is inconvenient. As stated above no additional provision in the restaurant for coeliacs (gluten free). The hotel bar could have been more inviting with more comfy seating.
- It's on the busy road but still mostly quiet

The hotel is very easy to find being located alongside the N20 and close to Foix and Montsegur. It is very interesting architecturally having been built in the early 1900s. There is plenty of parking. The host was very friendly and obliging. The breakfast was good.
There was no restaurant for dinner but there is a pizzeria opposite and other restaurants within walking distance.
Superior room was up to standard
Beware of the busy street in front of the hotel.Upon arrival we were told there was room for us in the restaurant… Apparently, they do not take into account their hotel guests.
Room and bathroom clean and comfortable. Lovely fluffy towels and good shower. Bit confused with the coffee machine as there was only blackcurrant tea in capsules available.
Photos give the impression that it’s away from the main road, which it’s not, it’s actually right on the main road which is very busy with traffic noise 24hrs if you opened a window. Couldn’t get a table for dinner as the restaurant was fully booked but they booked a table for us at a restaurant nearby (Vieux de Carre) which was excellent.
Fabulous room, very comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast. Terrific location and excellent value. Strongly recommended.
The property was better than advertised. The owner and staff were very friendly, helpful and polite. They made you feel very welcome.
Everything was quite good.
Great food at the restaurant
It's next to a busy road breakfast was ok
Warm welcome from staff, super clean and large room with wonderful views of the mountains. Large comfortable bed and bathroom.
The staff were welcoming and helpful the room was excellent.
The hotel restaurant was closed and the menu looked really good. After we had eaten we came back for a drink and the bar was closed.
Charming building with eclectic decoration set in a beautiful garden. Genuinely friendly and helpful staff. Good WiFI. Ample parking.
The hotel was very clean , the staff very friendly especially Jenny who was very welcoming . The bed was very comfortable and the shower was hot .
The area where the bar was was rather dated , and the breakfast didn't have many options . We didn't think that the breakfast was good value for the price .
Very modern, clean, quiet room and bathroom. Breakfast was much better than average, for France. There was ample, free parking.
Location was excellent, a short walk into town. A lovely welcome from the lady on reception. Bed was super comfortable so a great nights sleep after a a long motorcycle ride. The walk-in shower was fantastic. A nice continental breakfast set us up for the next days ride.
Very nicely renovated house with friendly staff and ample breakfast (extra).
the super friendly and accommodating staff, the garden, the guest room
the fact that the photos on booking.com implied a longer drive-way and hence a certain remoteness from the main road which was not the case (but luckily our room was not facing the road). the decor in the entrance and breakfast room, as well as stair case, is a matter of taste but we found it too eclectic, too kitsch (not quite what one expects from a 'country manor').
The owner was very welcoming, helpful, and pleasant, and the hotel had its own pool, which looked great, but we didn't have a chance to try it out?The location was good, and with a secure parking area.Would recommend and stay again
Reception staff were excellent and welcoming and went out of their way to help us with some queries.View from room was amazing and location was great.Dinner in restaurant was delicious.
Food was lovely, Restaurant was great and staff there and in hotel were great
Could do with some milk for coffee / tea, but this is minor
