The views were spectacular

The spa was run down, outdoor pool closed and generally the asthetics felt tired.

The hotel has beautiful views. Very quiet. The rooms are very comfortable and have all the services. We had a meal and were delighted. Very good cuisine, elaborate dishes, and competitive prices. The staff was very helpful and attentive when advising us on what to do in the area, although before our arrival we received an email with a summary of things to do and places to eat. We did not use it, but for the spa there was a very complete menu of different treatments available, and the pool has spectacular views over the valley.

To say something, it would have been nice to have the cafeteria available a little earlier (it opens at 12) in case you decide not to opt for the buffet offered by the hotel for breakfast. Other than that, I found it to be an idyllic place, I will recommend it and I hope to return for another break.

The property was beautiful and the facilities very clean and comfortable. The room had everything we needed. Plenty of parking. The staff were pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed the spa pools.

We had dinner at the hotel; portions were generous but food was just okay. Breakfast was better, but no hot options beyond coffee/tea.

Lovely big room with fabulous views

I had asked about the spa facilities and costs when we checked in and said I definitely wanted to use them. Unfortunately she failed to mention that i needed to reserve a time slot, so when i went to use them it was already booked, and as we were only staying the one night I was unable to. It was the main reason we booked that particular hotel so i was disappointed. As an aside each person quoted different prices to use the facilities??

The location was very remote and beautiful with spectacular views. Free parking. Lovely rooms with balcony overlooking the countryside. Large bed. Super efficient fridge. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Would have liked tea making facilities. The food in the restaurant was disappointing given the very high standard of the hotel in general.

Obviously you have to pay extra for the spa but it was lovely, you need a swim cap.The room itself was great, we are travelling with a teenager and the suite gave him and us some privacy.The breakfast was delightful. Our first meal was fiddly, see below. Our second meal was excellent.Outside pool lovely, shame about the weather. The village is delightful.

The menu could do with being a little clearer - we made choices for our first meal and were then told we had ordered too much food... how are we meant to know if there is no direction on the menu?

Location was incredible, staff were wonderful. Only thing that let it down was room bathroom a little mould on the ceiling & wifi access. Bed was comfortable & very clean.

Shower wasn’t great & WiFi access was poor

The staff was lovely, was accommodating! enjoyed the spa and swimming pool. We loved it!

Outdoor swimming pool temperature wasn’t regulated often as was freezing. The room bath had black staining around seal of bath and stains on ceiling. Some other guests were quite rude and a lot of unfriendly body language which made it uncomfortable at times which affected our experience.

The location is spectacular. The views are wonderful. Can't complain about the setting. Booked Dinner and it was of a very high standard. Nice pool. Didn't use the spa. Breakfast was fine. Nothing special.

For a 4 star I thought it wasn't as clean as you'd expect. It needs a little tidying here and there. I can't say the staff were welcoming. They were very abrupt and didn't really engage at all. The dinner waiting staff were nice but as for reception and breakfast maitre'd I'm afraid I'm unimpressed. Side note don't take advice on local restaurants from reception staff. We were badly advised.

Don’t like having to select breakfast choices the afternoon before! - but understand that because of few guests this would assist the hotel. However, breakfast was excellent - so much food provided that we had enough to take away for lunch! There are no other facilities in Torazo (that we could see) but the guide books fail to mention that it is a fascinating village with many unusual architectural features.

Absolutely brilliant hotel. The views and location are stunning. The food is amazing and the staff are very friendly. Our room was very spacious and had its own garden. There was no noise at night and the room was very cool, we have never slept so well in a hotel. Also the shower room was great and the shower was very powerful.Look no further as this is the hotel to book!

My only issue is with the bins located on the edge of the car park. They are needed but could be hidden or tidied up.

Lovely mountain village setting. Parking available. Lovely restaurant. Didn’t use the Spa. Chocolate and massive apples in the room.

Good breakfast with some local productsNice spa however not included in the price (we had to pay additional 18 euro per adult and 10 euro per child for 1.5 h in spa)

Additional cost for spaWhen we arrived we said that in principle we would only be interested in using the outdoor pool which we thought was included in the price but the person at the reception informed us that the outdoor pool is also counted as spa and we had to pay to use it. Then another staff of hotel taking care of spa told us it was not the case and the outdoor pool was free of charge so a bit confusing

Room- put everything in safe only to realise it wasn’t secured so useless! They did fix to wall when he told them. Stained lampshade, broken chair on terrace. I cleaned rim around plug in basin, because I couldn’t bear looking at it any longer!Common areas, just needed a good clean, glass on pictures dirty, lovely spa pool, spoilt by dirty windows, lift dirty, nearly dead flowers on reception and restaurant tables.Noise!! Expected a quiet rural hotel, when it is I think infact very popular with weddings so loud DJ music. Eating in restaurant one night the noise of staff clearing an adjoining function room meant I had to go into room and ask them to stop shouting. It was also the weekend of Village fete and obviously out of control of hotel, but partying went on until 6am on Saturday and Sunday mornings although not loud music that late.Food ok, nothing outstanding, but how are you supposed to stir a drink at breakfast without a teaspoon! Like everything just needs attention to detail sorted Could be the most wonderful haven, just needs to up its game!Could add more but written enough!

The hotel is gorgeous and perfectly kept, the views from the hotel are wonderful, staff was very friendly and customer oriented, COVID safety measures were adhered to strictly. The food was very good and the spa, though small, was very good too.

Not a complaint, just an opportunity for improvement: all the information boards, menus, rules for ths spa, etc. are in Spanish only, so adding some English info would help the international travelers. My partner does not speak Spanish and I think that without me helping, he would have missed some key information.

It is a jewel in the middle of nowhere.

Everything! Especially the service and the friendliness of the stuff were spectacular! We didn’t want to leave, a perfect place for a recharge.

Nothing to complain.
