Just put little bit more attention to the details and especially to that old dirty carpet please throw it out.

A pleasant hotel.Everything was quite good but not quite 100%.The food was reasonable and in addition to the big brands served a couple of good local beers.

The staff spoke barely any English.

Bathroom and shower were excellent. Breakfast was adequate and well presented. Staff were very helpful. Free parking. Location handy to shops and steam engines

Bedroom was a bit dull. Horrible brown carpet, carpets should be a no no in hotels. Beds were too low to the floor and not very comfortable. No A/C...very necessary in the hot weather. Door lock didn't function properly. Too many steps and stairs. Hard work if you have a mobility impairement

Fairly good location, 15 minutes walk to town center and 20 minutes to the steam depot.Breakfast was OK.Free parking.

Not a very quiet place: loud voices in the corridors and other rooms even on times when you expect silence.Noisy fans or ventilation equipment just outside my window.Somebody was arriving with a very loud motor bike early in the morning not far from my window which was open during the night.There was no place to hang up wet towels in the bathroom.Cleaning of the room was not up to expected standard.

Location was good, Breakfast was okay, we had to ask to have the cereals filled up as they were empty and the water urn was empty

Room never cleaned once, had to ask for toilet rolls, No new towels in the week we stayed their.There were parties downstairs and these were deafening, no consideration for hotel guests, who had to get up early.Front door slammed shut every time and echoed through the property very loud.No doors in any hall way meaning that everything echoed and was magnified all the time.Tables being setup at 4am in the morning again deafening

This was a last minute booking and it was perfect for our needs. Warm and clean rooms, a carpark too. Staff were welcoming.

The breakfast was always delicious, simply wonderful. The staff - very, very nice, friendly, helpful and supportive. Free parking place, good wi-fi.

The mattress too old, it was very hot but opened windows (with no window meshes) meant sworms of mosquitoes. Too noisy from the kitchen ventillation system. It is time to invest in air-condition in rooms.

Very noisy party in restaurant at ground floor between late evening and 3am.

Since it's called motel the Orion stands right next to a state road and offers a free parking spaces. Even though it stands next to a busy road there was not too noisy inside.The beds were large and comfortable and the breakfast was fine.

The motel is obviously quite poorly maintained. Most of the power sockets were hanging on the wall – even the one in the bathroom. But I understand this to be the result of a low price of the accomodation.In the four bedded room there were only two chairs.It is called a motel so this does not seem to be an issue, but.. The Orion is very far from a train station.

Perfect location, many shops nearby, The beach also quite close. Rooms were very nice, clean but modest- perfect for us. Breakfast delicious with a variety of food. Owerall, Very nice place

Receptionist on arrival spoke no english at all (receptionist the next day spoke good english).

For that money, it's almost a steal, bathroom was nice, modest but sufficient breakfast
