- Amazing view from our room to the open sea, but I guess it's the same for every room in the whole facility. One of the best breakfasts we have experienced lately, since everything was homemade, using traditional recipes and great variety. Room was spacious, as was the bathroom. Would definetely come back when visiting again the area.
- Porto Mani Suites is remotely situated in Kyparissos, а small seasidе villаge in sоuth Mani, about 10 km south of Gerolimеnas. It has а long histоry dating back tο Romаn times whеn the plaсe was cаllеd Kenipоlis (Кainipοlis) and some ruins оf wаlls and an аnciеnt sanсtuarу cаn still be seеn near the villagе. Kyparissos is built аrоund twο small baуs, one is а fishing pоrt and thе οther is a pebblеd beаch. Guests can safely walk to a nearby beach, about 150 meters away on a path. There are no facilities on the beach. The hotel is in good condition and the hosts provide a caring family atmosphere with a buffet breakfast served on the upper terrace. We enjoyed a fresh fish dinner expertly prepared by the chef. I recommend a nearby Italian restaurant called Matapan as another convenient dinner spot. If you crave quiet and privacy, this is an ideal spot to get away from it all. Good for couples!Source: https://www.feelgreece.com/en/kyparissos-mani © FeelGreece.com
Cons -
- If I should find a drawback that would be in terms of cleanliness, where I would suggest to pay a little more attention to small details, but nothing that would ruin the whole positive experience.
- The facility could use some updating. Investment in a swimming pool for guests to relax and enjoy the ocean view might be a worthwhile investment.
- Small things could be improved. Staff are a bit overreaching and awkward, the shower nozzle was spraying everywhere and half wall plugs were not working. None of these spoiled our stay of course, but just part of a fair review.

Beautiful place. Very rustic. Great view to the sea. Room was clean and functional. Aircon was effective. Bed was comfortable and bedding was good. Recommend
Fantastic place. Wonderful view, wonderful suites, special breakfast. A unique experience!
The view was amazing, location was quiet and peaceful, a short walk from a lovely little beach—loved our stay.
Everything was perfect! The proximity to the sea allows for amazing sunsets and you fall asleep hearing the waves and the wind. Breakfast was hand-made every day, Miss Voúla and Mr Angelos were the personification of hospitality! The location more generally was key, close to cape Tainaron but far from any city noise, and in the middle of the wildest, most spectacular and most exploring-worth side of Mani, close to old mountain villages, not far from the biggest city of the area (Areopoli) and less than 10’ away from the last gas station of the area and from Gerolimenas town apposite for resupplying.
Well, where do I start. The rooms have an amazing sea view with amazing sunsets and starry nights. There is so little light pollution that we managed to see the milky way. Both room and terrace are enormous. You can walk to a cute little beach 5 minutes from your room. The breakfast is amazing, a delicious feast of Greek cuisine with a sea view. The hotel is true to the architecture of Mani and the spot is an utter beauty. Warm welcome with cold lemonade and a cookie and private parking for each guest. The price is very good considering that it's 4-stars and every room has a sea view.

Very nice rooms, beautiful furniture, availability of refrigerator, spacy bathroom with good shower.Excellent breakfast, prepared with love by the lady of the house.Very pleasant terrace with marvellous see side! The hotel is built on the rocks alongside the sea. Very special feeling.
You can sometimes feel that the hotel is already a bit older and here and there some renovation would be necessary. For example, the curtains are very nice, but they don't close perfectly anymore. The air conditioning also makes a lot of noise. It's a pity that one of our curtains barely kept out the light.
We loved everything about our stay in Porto Mani Suites! The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, with a veranda and the most beautiful view of the sea. It is in a great position to explore Mani, there are lots of amazing beaches nearby (one also reachable by foot), but the most amazing experience was the breakfast - a buffet filled with traditional sweets and home made cakes and savory meals! Highly recommended and would definitely stay again
Location is excellent if you want peace and tranquillity. (June 1st) sitting on the balcony, lights out watching the stars an listening to the waves gently lap on the rocks below - wonderful! Excellent breakfast. Effectively private beach 5 minutes walk away. (Arrowed in the picture)
Nothing not to like about the hotel. Out of season it could be difficult to find a restaurant close by.
the room we had was spatious with a big terrace over the coast and bay - calm and phantastic views. very friendly host, excellent breakfast with a lot of choice, particularly the variety of greek pies and pastries! very authentic greek atmosphere!
The wonderful location and view from private balcony. The superb cooking.
They have given us a more spacious room compared with what we have booked without any charge.Very good breakfast.Very pleasant owners.Very nice view to the sea.Quiet and relaxing.Good wifi connection.
Old style furnitures and decoration. Not good sleeping mattress. After taking a shower there was a smell all over the room. Not easy to take a shower as the telephone bathtub was not working properly. It has been communicated with the owner but he answered that this was due to the water pressure machine.ΤV bad reception especially on evenings.Definitely not a 4 star hotel comparing the facilities with the price.
Good breakfast, quiet location, very good view from the balcony, daily cleaning, garbage collection and towel replacement whenever you asked.
Some things need more attention as the hotel is ageing, for example the pergola was a bit damaged and the air conditioning needed a bit of hacking to work as it was connected to a switch that activated it when the doors to the balcony were closed but this didn't work all of the times and you needed to open/close them several times before it did the trick.Due to covid restrictions breakfast from the buffet had to be served by the hotel personnel which made the experience a bit time consuming and awkward when I think disposable gloves for the guests would have saved everybody's time. Mosquitos nets are not installed in the rooms, and the first night that we slept with open windows, as the host reassured us of the absence of mosquitos in the area, we regretted it of course, silly us. The location is a bit remote
The owners are lovely people, and were genuinely warm and receptive, and I appreciated their welcoming and my departure. I felt like I was staying at family.....
A very peaceful and calm place.
The Wi-Fi was not working the whole day!
Great service, beautiful view!!!
