Pros +
- Very cute, we had a room upstairs, which was very spacious and clean. The wellness centre below was a bonus. The bar had locally brewed beer, and breakfast was typically dutch.?
- Great value for a night on the trail, big room, hot shower, and dinner at their restaurant opposite was excellent.
- Quiet village setting, slept in complete silence, woke to a big tasty breakfast and friendly service.
Cons -
- Maybe the tiny spiral staircase to get to our room. But it was worth it.
- The bed was two singles put together so in the night if you turn too much to the middle, the beds move and you drop right in the middle. But they were comfy
- One of the saunas didn't work properly in the evening. I chose this accommodation based on the spa facilities. It was a bit unclear how they should be operated. Staff is in another building so it is not so handy to go back and forth. It worked in the morning for a while but then cooled down again quickly. Different diets (vegetarian, vegan) could be better considered in the restaurant menu and breakfast.

If you are walking the Pieterpad, this is the perfect base, step outside and you are on your way, staff could not be kinder.
The spa access made our stay, Turkish sauna, steam room and a blissful massage chair, we left relaxed and happy.
Dog friendly in all the right ways, our pup was greeted with smiles, we ate well in the restaurant and there is an EV charger directly opposite, so handy.
Breakfast had what we needed, and when I asked for gluten free options they provided them with a smile, dinner later was just as good.
We booked an apartment and loved the extra space, ideal with our dog, and the seal rescue center nearby was a lovely visit.
Started our Pieterpad adventure at Hotel Waddengenot, unbeatable spot, warm welcome, and the early takeaway breakfast bag kept us powered all morning.
Spacious, clean room, easy check in, a welcome drink on arrival and a super comfy bed, five stars.
Right in the middle of everything. Clean, good service. Loved the sauna even on that hot day we were there.

The room was very nice and clean, check in was easy. A welcome drink is a great addition!

Good quiet location in small village in the countryside, Big nice room, big breakfast
Because the room was near the entrance it had frosted windows
An interesting hotel that needs a little facelift but is really good value. The reception and carpark are not right beside the rooms. The bedroom was large and spacious with comfortable beds. A bit basic but fine for one night. The bathroom shower in my room could have done with a screen as the floor beside gets very wet. The restaurant across the road (theirs) serves good food and has ample seating. Breakfast that was served there was adequate.
The path to the door to the upstairs rooms goes behind the hotel and was a bit dirty. It needs a good clean.
We really enjoyed this hotel. Our arrival was a little late, but we got the keys without any problems and checked in. All the staff that we met were very friendly. The room was clean and tidy, and the breakfast was tasty. Thank you so much, I would like to come back next time and stay longer than to get acquainted with the beauty around.
The staff's explanation was thorough and very kind. The room was also clean. The breakfast is excellent.
Excellent location right across the Pieterpad and dog friendly. My pooch was welcomed even in the restaurant. The food from the restaurant was very good. There is a electric car charging station across from the hotel.
It’s a little outdated.
It was perfect, in middle of the village, good restaurant, comfort room and a nice, good service.
We could hear the snoring of other person at the other bedroom.
Most of it was perfect. Bad score is mainly because we arrived by bicycle 20 minutes before check in time. While the room was of course ready, we still had to wait till 3pm sharp to get the key. Pure stupidity and a lack of empathy.
Dinner and Breakfast was nice. Simple but was happy with the meals. Bouillabaisse seems fresh and well prepared, schnitzel was huge. Sauna was really appreciated after a cold walk. Spacious room, comfy beds, good central heating.
Dark lighting, add a table or other furniture to unpack etc.
