Pros +
- I like the location because it is really nature.
- Large parking area
- Superb
Cons -
- I dont like the spacious of the room, the bed is really uncomfortable, feels like sofa material with a topper. additionally, the room is on the roof top, not really having space and feels like I am back in dorm life
- Had the junior suite which must be the worst room in the building, it’s got connecting door to next room and you can hear every word every movement, worse still they had 2 children in that room, plus walls are wafer thin, so you even hear from surrounding rooms, plus the noise from people leaving restaurant, so in all, lots of noise!Shower is nice but the sink is in with it and only mirror, so is the electrical socket for the hairdryer, which gets wet cos it’s on the shower! Then you stand in the water to use hairdryer…quite unbelievable The lighting in room is poor and the bed not great. The restaurant food is average at best but the service diabolical…. Took 50 mins to get our first courses a soup and a bruschetta which was bland, then another 40 mins to get some ravioli and a grilled veg dish, both uninspiring and bland with a bottle of wine and 2 hours later cost 120 euros!Children running round the restaurant like it’s a playground!I travel a lot over 120 nights in hotels per year, some good some bad, but this ranks in bottom 10 overall imo that’s for sure…..Check in was not exactly welcoming and check out, no one was even present at 06.45 to check out, all still in darkness even though breakfast was supposed to start at 07.00
- our room had a yakuzu. we extended one more day, and the staff mentioned that we will gwt a similar room. But it got no bath at all.

The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff very friendly and professional. The dinner very good.
Breakfast's choice was not great.
The location, the cleanliness and food were second to none. The staff very friendly and helpful.
We arrived late to find no towels in the apartment. We were overcharged with someone else’s dinner items! It was eventually refunded after several attempts.
My friends and I were bike touring through Holland and just stumbled onto this place while passing through. It was a fantastic stay. Lots of things to see and do in the area, especially if you are camping or bike touring.
Modern clean and the only real option in the area
The welcome at reception - and in the restaurant - was very unfriendly - probably as they do not like international visitors
Location excellent: located directly on the Maas Cycling Route. Easy & accessible secure cycle storage. Modern buildings and facilities, well-kept and very clean and comnfortable. Excellent waterside location and views from restaurant.Superb (extensive) menu for dinner, and well executed. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Bright modern room and hotel had a relaxed feel. The restaurant had a good range of meals.
Beautiful clean and spacious room. The restaraunt was delicious and they had a lovely place to swim in the lake. Could store my bike in a secure cellar, and the staff were very friendly.
We had a very friendly welcome, and the room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good, and all staff were all very helpful. The locaton is pleasant next to some lakes with several opportunities for short or longer walks.
Nothing - all was good
Position and a good sized room.
The Wi-Fi didn’t work. There were no bedside lights. You had a single overhead ligh and I had to get out of bed to switch the lights off!No bedside power socket.A single thin duvet , I was cold in the early morning as it was a cool night.I have stayed in much better 1 to 2 star hotels.
Great views and spacious. Good choice of seating at the restaurant.
Room with ensuite bathroom and a magnificent lake views
There was some confusion about payment. Had to wire them 1.20 euro for city tax.
Really nice restaurant. Really pleasant hotel in general.
Not so much variety for breakfast although diverse enough and really nice.
Clean. Would be more convenient to have a fidge in the room.
No bath.
The hotel, staff, location and wonderful grounds made this a very pleasurable stay.
Nothing!
The staff was excellent and dealt with all various issues appropriate and in a positive flexible manner. Staff was how you like to encounter them when in a hotel situation. For me the staff where the best wonderful aspect of the hotel. The outside and inside lounge places of the hotel where also great.
The decor and furniture in dependence felt underwhelming and cheap for 4 star hotel, no atmosphere, brown, boring and uninviting, claustrophobic. More like what you get cheap 2 or basic 3 star accommodation.
It’s a really good quality hotel with a fantastic restaurant & breakfast. The location is ideal for me & it has the bonus that I can get out for an early morning run without any hassles.
Nice restaurant and breakfast' freindly staff. Good place to start your bike trip around the area
A little remote during the week. Not much going on around and very quiet. A bit too much for a solo traveller.
