    Pros +

    • A great location by the harbour, nice quiet area, great facilities.
    • The rooms are great, modern with potentially great view (Unfortunately our room was towards the parking though).I loved the designed how comfortable the rooms were. It also had fridge and water cooker which is also great.
    • I like the outside area.

    Cons -

    • We got a room towards the parking which was not what I expected from the view when I booked. It was also noisy because of the cars. This one is more my bad, but you can't enter Biesbosch from the hotel easily and you have to make a big round. That is why for the me the name (Hotel Biesbosch) was a bit misleading.
    • The bathroom door was strange, there was no shelf in the shower. The TV did swivel. The garbage cans were small.
    • Breakfast good but some rebuilding going on as view not so good

Major construction ongoing .. ok to sleep if traveling and need to stop .. otherwise not recommended.. Also not much privacy .. rooms are directly on the alley

room size and furns okay, shower was good

room was very cold for starter, found out how to manage the heather, the hotel manual was in Dutch only, the samsung smart tv was in Dutch only, changing language was blocked.a large metal clothes and store was first thing to bump into when opening the stiff door, beds to soft for my opinionall these extra pillows for no use other than decor

It was very easy to get to, free parking, quick check in even a few minutes before 15:00 and friendly staff, the room was great, everything new and clean and comfortable with working AC that we could easily set to our preferred temperature. And for that price it was just perfect, highly recommend to anyone

Beds are great. Large selection of TV channels. Big fridge (which does make a bit a noise). Shower is great. View from most of the rooms is great.

Very well located if you wish to explore Biesbosch.Nice room with a view but a bit dusty.

It was very cold and it took a while until the AC could warm up the room.

I hope heating would work better in winter

Heating stopped by itself during the night.Very complicated and old fashion heating control panel.

Loved the place, and bathroom absolutely amazing state of the art, loved the big fridge they got and the how big the bed was ????.We had booked for the breakfast which was amazing u just sit and everything just gets brought to you

A big table would have been better and the chairs could be better and would have been nice to have a little dustbin in the room

Initial impressions were good, I didn't expect what I saw. I understand shipping containers were repurposed to create this hotel. I got to say I was impressed with the initiative and the room I stayed in, was very comfortable despite the humble origins. I liked the lake views despite me on ground level. My friends were in a suite on the first floor with additional facilities and views.I didn't eat much there due to their hours. I ate breakfast only.

Limited variety for breakfast. Limited opening hours for the cafe. That's it basically.

Loads of free car parking close to accommodation. Also great access to the many cycle routes nearby.

Summer 2024 = it’s a building site, no escaping it - I was even asked to move my car to allow a builders vehicle to pass.Non Dutch speakers are stumped here. Receptionist only spoke Dutch and told us to refer to room brochure for info (which is also only in Dutch). I know we are in Holland and there is a need to embrace it, but also need Reception staff being more aware there is no non Dutch language in the room brochure. I felt we were being fobbed off.Room was ok. Not amazing, just ok. Even in August it was cold. They don’t provide slippers for the cold concrete floor so definitely bring your own. Also bring food with you if not wanting to dine in a restaurant. There is no cafe or room service.I paid extra (15 Euros pp) for breakfast. The staff seemed very distracted. At the end when new staff were clearing our plates did they spot we hadn’t received the full breakfast we had paid for. The lady apologised (but really should have nailed this upfront).Beautiful area, glad we have seen it, but equally happy only one night.

    Location

Great room but no English in the welcome folder and the tv could only be watched if you sat in front of it

    10GoranPosted on: 7-31-2024

Breakfast was nice, kinda standard for this type of hotel. Location was great, just at the marina with some lovely boats parked in front. We really loved the design of the room - it looked awesome! And the view was amazing as well.

Due to some new construction work it was difficult to figure out where the reception was.

    8CristianPosted on: 7-19-2024

full equipped kitchen, clean and nice bathroom

noise in the early morning due the construction work in place, lack of privacy outside
