Location, food and service!!!

Great location and staff, they also have a restaurant with really good food, breakfast buffet was one of the best. We had a very comfortable stay. You can also do some walks in the surroundings.

The room was overall clean but we noticed the bathtub was not as clean so we couldn’t use it.

The breakfast was cold ...lousy.....The room had no ventilation..we were in a smoke free room but opening the door next room smoking on the balcony. We were shocked the state of the place...bugs in room dead on walls...only ventilation opening door yet on a very busy road.. I needed to go to hospital next day but got such a lousy night's sleep. For the money we paid €115.00 it was a disgrace. We will NEVER go back and NEVER recommend it to anyone!! It was a real DIVE of a place

Get ventilation...clean rooms...don't say smoke free room and have the rooms besides you smoking away!!

Fabulous location in beautiful undulating countryside. Comfortable and welcoming hotel with friendly staff, excellent breakfast (try the homemade jams) and dinner featuring local specialties. Room 5 on the 1st floor had a balcony with a terrific view of animals grazing in the pastures. The walks in the border area were absolutely lovely and memorable. A bonus: there was no need to use the car all weekend!

There was really not much to improve, other than the WiFi connection. Also I received far too many messages through Booking.com about my stay. One email would have sufficed.

Beautiful location, excellent staff, great restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Large, comfortable and quiet room.

The trash can in the room was not emptied before our stay, a minor inconvenience.

My room was not as cosy as i expected. It felt a little gray.

Noisy room from lack of sound proofing & the room doors are the complete opposite of soft close to the extent that the room shook whenever someone entered a bedroom.Unfortunately the shower room also had a strange underlying drain smell.Both mattress & pillow were very hard.

Friendly people with lots of good tips for walks in the area. Great terrace with view over the valley. Can start a selection of hikes straight from the hotel. Very good breakfast and room facing west with great sunset views.

Excellent breakfast and dinner. Enough space in the restaurant even though the hotel was fully booked. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice walks start directly from the hotel. Nespresso machine in the room.

Minor details : fitted sheet on the bed was a bit small, no cup to rinse teeth (but I think this was for ecological reasons, no plastic which I can only applaud so this is actually also a positive point).
