- The EuroParcs is conveniently located - 15 min by car to Alkmaar, 25 minutes to the beach and under an hour to Amsterdam. The area around is beautifully green, there is a small lake, achievable by a short bike ride. Bikes can also be rented at Europarcs. The property is a full chalet - we had one with 2 bedrooms. The chalet is not big, but comfortable. Everything was clean.
Cons -
- Before in the messages they demand a security deposit of over 300 dollars over 100 per person, it was also liquicity festival so they said in the messages that have to pay an extra 100 per person on top of the security deposit if we were going to the festival but they didn't ask for it in person so I feel like there are employees giving false information, the location is horrible if you walk so have to use Uber/taxi to get around, my friend got a dirty pillow sheet, the thermostat didn't change the temperature so their were hours that the place is hot, spiderwebs on the outside furniture, other attendants does show up until much later to get their clothes so I had to wait to start doing my laundry; plus there was 3 washers and 1 dryer prices are way to high for what I'm use to back at my area, they have a restaurant but it doesn't serve breakfast; if we want bread have to order a day in advance, we have to supply our own towels or we have to pay extra to "rent" some, we only got 1 toilet paper so we had to buy more which is in a huge pack and not in singles. The worst part is one policy they have which is that we have to clean the apartment/home because of we leave or they said they would give a fine if it wasn't clean. It feels more like a vacation home rental place than a hotel
- The small cabin linked to every property, is where we would do bait preperation and storage, was filthy dirty and covered in cobwebs. The electricity was also disconnected, which ment we had to purchas an extension lead and run it from the main chalet. We reported other issues with the main chalet, light not working, lace curtains not connected to rail so hanging down, no ice cube maker in the frezzer box, no plug in the bathroom sink. none of these issues were fixed. Car parking place is small and tight to get into.
- It was our first time in a camping site like this, so we were not prepared that there was e.g. no handsoap, and no towels included. Towels can be rented for an additional price. The couch in the chalet was not very comfortable.

Beautiful setting, relaxed, clean, peaceful
The location was really convienient for us. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a festival, and it was only a 20 minute walk! The size was perfect, the dining space and kitchen was very good. The staff were really lovely and spoke English too! Other than the festival music, the location was very quiet and peaceful. :)
There wasnt anything we didnt like, however we didnt realise the accomodation wouldnt provide towels and tea/coffee which would have been nice. Although the shop at the reception did provide these as well as the basics needed for cooking.
The beds are very uncomfortable. The bet sheets are not nice. I bought all new , also pillows. The worst thing is that there is no air conditioning!!! The room temp was 32 celsius . I bought 3 air cooler so it will be more comfortable in the room
Cleaning service!!!!!!!!! And why doesnt the restaurant offers better menu? We barely found something to eat as vegetarian
The room was spacious, clean, and well equipped. The garden was also very nicely organized and taken care of. The kitchen was very big and functional. Parking spot next to the cottage was also a plus.
The mattresses in the master bedroom are split, and kept moving apart, leaving a whole in the middle. There were no instructions in English for using/setting the heating in the room. We had a hard time understanding how to set a good temperature
The location of this Europarc is great, it is situated near Alkmaar which is the cutest little Dutch city/town (great for shopping and boat rides). We stayed here mainly to visit the 'non touristy' tulips fields in North Holland and I would highly recommend this place if that is something you're looking to do as there were plenty around the area (the Europarc has a great bike rental facilities which we used to visit some nearby tulip fields).
We stayed in a 6 persons bed chalet - the only thing I would say is that the rooms and beds were a bit small for adults (especially the bunk bed room). I think this would have been fine for younger kids so I would say that this chalet is more suitable for a family. If you're a group of adults, it would be definitely worth upgrading to a bigger chalet!
nice location and lots of things to do
beds were uncomfortable and no amnesties in property
The garden was perfect as we had the sun on our terrace in the morning. The site was very accessible.
The chairs and sofa inside the house are not very comfortable.
staff
very old uncomfortable furniture
Bad
the Tent which I think is the chalet
Friendly staff
Broken toilet
the nature around the park.
Gardens were a delight. Staff excellent.
Lovely location but we were disappointed with the chalet. It wasn’t upgraded like some of the others
