Location is great. Quite close to train station. Owners of the Hotel are just extremely friendly and amazing people. 1) I was late once and Family Berg were so kind and gave me a ride to the place I needed. 2) I forgot something in the room and they returned me it by bringing to the location. I mean from whom can you expect such a nice gesture nowadays?
I stayed there for one night. Check in and check out were super easy, and Frau Berg replied on my message fast with kindness. It was extremely clean. a lot of parking space, great location, bice balcony and calm environment.
Not much to like after having an absolutely terrible experience. Perhaps the ability of flexible check-in, other than that it was horrible. Would not recommend.
I didn’t receive the room I paid for, there was nobody at the property who works at the hotel, no help received over the phone and after messaging the owner, she did not take responsibility for the negligence on their part. Also there was no hot water, the hallway smelled like urine and the location is absolutely terrible - I was woken up constantly from 6 am due to church bells and non-stop contruction from 7:45 am. Since I was travelling I really needed some rest and I was able to sleep 3 hours before leaving the premises for an all-day drive. There is no clear communication from the owner, only providing false information about the room and misleading the guest, then not caring about it when the guest asks about it. I have pictures of everything as proof, yet the owner still denies that they made a mistake. No compensation will be awarded, despite the fact that I got a cheaper room than what I paid for, to which the owner replied “we didn’t have the room you paid for at the time, it happens”. Absolutely unacceptable.
The room was quiet, quaint and just out of Salzburg. 15 minutes to the city center by train.
A fan in the room would help in the summer.
